Takeshi stares unblinkingly at his phone. He was reading the text messages from his online friend from two years ago.

'Who are you? '

'Why did you disappear? '

'How can I find you? '

'How do you know my name? '

'Will I truly be fine? '

Knowing that his questions won't be answered, Takeshi put his phone aside. He got up from his futon and went to open the sliding door. He stared up at the night sky full of stars.

" A rain will always have a sky to return to huh? If I am the rain, then who's the sky I can return to? "

The next day~
Field~
Takeshi stood in daze at the batter box. He got scolded recently by the teacher for his bad grades. He was lost and even if he wants to consult with his online friend, his friend had disappeared somewhere. He didn't want to disturb Ieyasu so he just kept everything to himself.

As he continues to think, suddenly a shout came from the coach's box on the left side of the field. "Oi! Yamamoto! Stop daydreaming! The ball is heading towards you! ".

Takeshi snapped out of it and when he finally gained focus, the ball went passed him and the catcher caught it " Strike! "

" Ah,What were you doing daydreaming in the middle of the practice, Yamamoto?! ". The coach scolded.

Takeshi smiled sheepishly " Ahaha, gomen, gomen. I'll make sure to score a home run after this "

The coach huffed " If you understand then that's fine. Your only good point is in baseball so you need to work harder so that you can get a scholarship. With your exam results, I doubt you'd be able to go to a good school without it".

The smile on Takeshi's face stiffened a bit but the coach shows no signs of noticing it. This time, Takeshi steadied himself and faced towards the pitcher.

The pitcher then threw the ball at Takeshi. The ball was quite fast but Takeshi could see as if the ball was in slow motion. But somehow, right before Takeshi could hit the ball like he usually does, his eyes wavered a bit.

Because of the slight delay, the bat didn't hit the ball and the ball was caught by the catcher. "Strike! "

Right after, the coach shouted furiously "Yamamoto! What are you doing?! This is so not like you to miss repeatedly! If you can't focus then get out of the field now! Return to your class and return here after school's over! "

A glint passed through Takeshi's eyes before he looked down and nodded. He went to the locker room and changed his clothes. Then, he return to the classroom and sat down at his seat mindlessly.

7.30a.m~
After finishing his daily task, Ieyasu returned to the classroom. He was surprised to see Takeshi's looking slump. Ieyasu walk towards Takeshi and sat down at the chair in front of Takeshi's table.

"What's wrong Takeshi? You seem down. Is it about your exam results? Hey, if you're worried why don't we do a study group at my home. Kaa-san would love it if you come over ".

Takeshi looked up and stared at Ieyasu for a minute before saying " It's nothing really, don't worry Ieyasu ".

Ieyasu frowned. " Takeshi ". Takeshi look confusedly at Ieyasu. " What is it? ". Ieyasu grabbed Takeshi's hand and stood up abruptly. He grabbed both his and Takeshi's bag and went out of the classroom while dragging Takeshi along.

" Wha- wait, where are we going Ieyasu? ". Takeshi stuttered out. Ieyasu didn't answer him and looked back at their classmates. With a warm smile, he said " We'll be skipping class today so please cover for us okay? "

One of the girls blushed and said "H-hai! ". After receiving the answer, Ieyasu looked away and started striding outside. His smiling face just then turned cold.

Ehem. I know that it's been months since I last updated..... I'm sorry >∆<! I just can't seem to write these days so it's been kinda hard to continue...
