Chapter 17 Part 1

At the same time at Hikaru's house
After running away, Tsuna arrived in front of Hikaru's house. Tsuna calmed his rapid breathing and took out the key and entered the house.

Tsuna then make his way upstairs and entered Hikaru's room. Tsuna went to the bed and dived into the soft mattress, restraining his tears. 'Reborn.... I don't have the courage to face you.... I'm afraid that maybe, just maybe..... You would.... '

Flashback
It was a certain normal day. Tsuna was doing the paperwork when Reborn entered his office. Reborn was kind of rigid and a bit nervous but Tsuna didn't notice it nor did he knows of Reborn's presence as he was too focused on his work.

After few minutes passed, Reborn decided to bite the bullet and broke the silence with a cough. Tsuna looked up and saw Reborn there. Tsuna was a bit shocked since these days, it seems like Reborn was avoiding him but suddenly the person himself came to his doorstep.

Tsuna smiled warmly at Reborn "What is it, Reborn? Do you want to report something to me? ". Reborn took a deep breath before dropping a huge bomb at Tsuna " Tsuna, I love you "

Tsuna dropped the pen he was holding and stood up abruptly at the sudden confession. "Wh-what d-did you say? ". Reborn repeated the word but with a stronger tone then before. " I said, I've fallen in love with you, Tsuna "

Tsuna was dumbfounded "Eh....? " 'Did Reborn just said that he loved me? That Reborn? The spartan tutor? Like seriously? Ehhh? '

Then as if coming into a sudden realisation, Tsuna blushed furiously. "W-what did you m-mean that y-you *cough* l-love me? Like eh? I'm confused now? What? "

Reborn started chuckling seeing Tsuna's flustered figure. It seems like he didn't have to be so rigid confessing just now. And seeing Tsuna's reaction, it looks like he likes him too.

Tsuna pouted at Reborn, "I knew you were fooling around! Geez, Reborn how could you do that! I thought that *whisper*you truly liked me. It seems like I was hoping too much *whisper* ".

Reborn smirked " What? You thought what? I didn't hear you just now. You should try saying it clearly ". Tsuna's face started to look like an octopus as he was blushing too much. Then he lowered his head and started mumbling something.

Reborn looked lovingly towards Tsuna then he walked closer to the brunette making Tsuna looked back upwards and see Reborn's face.

Reborn then hold Tsuna's chin and asked " So? What's your answer? ". Tsuna's eyes wandered as he was wavering whether or not he should accept Reborn's love towards him. Tsuna do loves Reborn but he was afraid that Reborn would reject him so he just silently look from afar. Now this opportunity has come, should he agree to it?

"Um,etto, ano. Can you give me some ti- before Tsuna could finish his sentence, Reborn kissed Tsuna's alluring lips. Then Reborn rested his head on Tsuna's shoulder as he whispered.

" Tsuna, I love you, I'm serious here, please okay, don't reject me.... ". Tsuna was dazed by the sudden kiss but after hearing Reborn's confession again, Tsuna soften " Y-yes ".

Then Tsuna covered his face from embarrassment.

Few month after they start dating
Early Morning~
Tsuna woke up and he remembered about yesterday's 'deed'. Then Tsuna started blushing, it was their first time ever doing 'it' after all. But then Tsuna started sulking 'I knew that Reborn is experienced but I didn't know he was that experienced when it comes to this kind of stuff. I'm kinda jealous now.... '

 Reborn was already awake since earlier when Tsuna opened his eyes. When Tsuna started pouting, Reborn snuggled to Tsuna's warm body. "What's wrong? What, you're not satisfied last night? *smirk* Or maybe you want to do it again? "

Tsuna blushed at the question. Then on a impulse, Tsuna grabbed a pillow and started hitting him-well at least he tried to hit Reborn but who was Reborn? Of course Reborn avoided the pillow. After, avoiding two to three hits, Reborn grabbed Tsuna's hand and asked again "So, why are you being sulky? "

Tsuna wanted to free his hands from Reborn's strong grip but because of the question, he paused and looked down and started to mumble something 'there's no way I could say that I'm jealous right? That's to embarassing'

"What is it? Stop mumbling nonsense and just tell me Tsuna. If you don't tell me I'll have to force it out of you". Tsuna immediately sit up right " W-wait I'll tell you, I'll tell you". Tsuna hesitated "I.... I'm... *blush* "

*thud* Reborn pushed Tsuna down onto the soft mattress and whispered into Tsuna's ear "It seems like you do want me to force it out of you "

Tsuna flustered and blurted the words, half shouting "Mou! Stop it ok! Fine, I'm jealous! I'm jealous that you you are so experienced in dating and I'm the only one who keeps on getting embarrassed and having my heart flutters like an idiot! Hmph! "

This time, Tsuna didn't want to look at Reborn as he is quite annoyed by Reborn forcing things. Reborn was dumbfounded, then he sighed, half smiling 'So he was jealous huh.... This idiot.... '.

"Tsuna.... Nee, Tsuna, look at me for a while. I want to tell you something...".

Sensing the serious tone, Tsuna was a bit afraid that Reborn was mad at him for getting jealous, but he turned around anyway and faced Reborn.

" What is it? "

Reborn's face was serious without any hints of playfulness, and his eyes was deeply staring at Tsuna. As if trying to imprint Tsuna's face in his mind.

"Tsuna, I swear to you that before this, I've never fallen so deeply in love with anyone. I was like a broken doll. Life never had any meaning to me. I was raised as a killing machine, I started my work, became the greatest hitman and then the strongest arcobaleno. My life was always painted in either the red color of blood or monochromatic scenery. But Tsuna, you changed me.... You gave me the will to live... You gave me everything that I've never had. You gave me warmth, a family and also teach me the meaning of happiness. Honestly, I don't know what would have happened if you weren't there. I swear that I will always love you forever even till death and also for the next lifetime. You're irreplaceable. That's why, I want you to be happy and always remain as the sky you are "

Then Tsuna grabbed Tsuna's face and kissed him. "I love you Tsuna "

End Flashback

Tears keeps on falling from Tsuna's eyes. He can't take it anymore. He was afraid... What if? What if just possibly that Reborn would no longer choose him in this world? He doesn't want anyone else to be beside Reborn. Not even his brother, Ieyasu.

Tsuna knows that it was extremely selfish of him to say this. But, he just can't. He knows that the Reborn in this world and his Reborn are two different people. They're not the same and they would never be the same.

As Tsuna continues crying, the door opened and Haruki stood in front of the entrance. Pain was clearly shown in his eyes as he watches the brunette cry.

His heart aches so badly as he hears the silent sobbing. "Tsuna.... "

You guys are probably annoyed with all the flashbacks. But please bear with it for a while cause this is probably gonna be the last flashback I'll made. So goodbye to adult Reborn for now. Honestly it was quite hard finishing this chapter. I literally cringed lol. I somehow can't believe Reborn could say those words lol.
