I woke up minutes before my alarm to a loud ding. I glances tiredly over to my bedside table to notice I've received a message. My eyes are blurry and I struggled to decipher what this short message actually said. Until I realised it was from Olivia I immediately bolted up right my heart was racing excited to see what she has to say, it read: 'Hey Jamie, I hope it's ok if I sit with you today again, you're a great guy to talk to,' My heart felt like it stopped beating. I thought "me? Why would she want to be with me again?" I chucked the bed covers off of me, and ran out my door wearing the nearest clothes I manages to grab out of my closet.

I slowed down as I could hear faint sobs coming out of my sisters room along with muffled voices, I recognised one of them as my mothers, she sounded tender and warm, like she was trying to calm her down. I peeked through the tiny gap of the door to see my sister in a ball on her bed, she was shaking to an extreme extent. I wondered what the heck had got her so upset to the point of literally shaking. Although physically she looked like she was recovering from a break down, but verbally I could hardly hear her at all. My mum was tenderly stroking the back of hair whispering softly to her to calm down and tell her what's happened. "No!" My sister practically yelled, it made me jump so much I nearly toppled over. "You won't get!" My sisters sobs got more louder and heavier and she started sounded like she was gasping for breath at this point. "He gets everything! Everything he wants."  I paused for a second and said to myself "is she talking about me?"  I looked at my mums face which showed deep concern. "Who sweetie?" She was struggling to speak over the now heavy sobs. My mum looked as if she had enough and was about get up and let her calm down on her own, which I knew that was my queue to leave, so I dashed downstairs grabbed and apple and practically dashed to school, hoping to forget about what I witnessed today and maybe ask my mom about what I 'heard' later.

As lunch came to a close I threw my waste into the bin which was directly by the entrance to the cafeteria, I hung my head low disappointed that Olivia didn't show, which was a shame, but I had to let it go, and said to myself not to dwell on it too much. A sudden vibration in my pocket made me jump out of my thoughts, I reached in and pulled out my phone hoping it was Olivia giving me a good explanation as to why she didn't show up today. I felt myself start to smile as there was a notification from Olivia which, to my disappointment, read: "Sorry I wasn't at lunch today Jamie, I had something to deal with, maybe we can do it another time hopefully." I did a side roll of the eyes and murmured , "yeah, hopefully." I left the cafeteria wandering to my self what she could possibly be doing considering I saw a glimpse of her at school today, but I just shrugged it off like I do with most things.

When I arrived home i noticed something was off the moment I stepped through the door. The atmosphere felt heavy, it was thick to the point of being able to cut it with a knife. I felt a shiver go down my spine. My mums face looked red and tear stained, she was sitting at the dining room table reading a novel of some sorts and my dad was reading a newspaper on the couch and didn't even acknowledge my presence, which was normal for him but completely abnormal for my mum. I did notice she side eyed me but only for a split second. I don't know much, but what I do know is I wanted to leave that room immediately. Without a peep from any of us i slowly but surely, without making a big deal out of it, went upstairs and headed for my bedroom.

I considered checking on my sister, but I didn't want to make matters worse by letting her know I witnessed her little episode. I did stop in my tracks to hear her giggling, and chatting happily, to I presume her phone, I heard what she said as clear as day, "I did it, I don't have to worry any more." I heard a faint reply back, but just about couldn't understand them though, but the voice sounded familiar, I couldn't put my finger on it. My sister replied with, "please don't come, don't forget who my brother is." Then she  just hung up with a heavy sigh. Of course I was confused, but the thing that bothered me the most was how sweet and angelic the voice of the other was.
