Okay, a couple of things to mention before going on with the real story.

I really appreciate all of you readers out there for reading, voting, and maybe commenting on this fanfic. And so, since this fanfic has been an ongoing series for almost a year, I was thinking this time to make all of you really happy! ^ - ^ Aand, sorry for the freakin' long wait. I know, I know, it took me a while to write this and all, but here it is! Yay! This chapter is the longest chapter out of all so far, and probably the most romantic~ *bounces eyebrows*

It was the 31st of December, the day before new year. You were really excited, not only because a fresh new year of memories are going to be built soon, but you get to build those memories with the person most precious to you: Yagami Light.

It was 8 in the morning, and Light woke you up in the middle of your perfect slumber. "(Y/N)-chan," he said as she shook your shoulder, "wake up." You groaned in response and snuggled more under the warm blankets. Your boyfriend rolled his eyes and started to take off his shirt. You opened one eye in curiosity. Apparently, you regretted it. Real bad. Your face turned deep red. "L-L-L-LIGHT-KUN?!? W-W-WHAT ARE YOU D-D-DOING?!" You immediately stood up and stopped him. "NO, NO, NO, NO! W-WE CAN'T DO THIS NOW! I-I'M NOT R-READY FOR THIS!"

Light bursted in laughter, which made you blush even more. He put his shirt back on. "H-Huh..? W-Wha..?" you said in confusion.

Light chuckled a bit more and kissed your forehead. "I knew that'd get you out of bed."

You puffed your cheeks and threw a pillow at Light. "Hmph. Why did you wake me up at this time, anyways?"

"Because," he began, "we're going somewhere later. I'm not telling you where." After that, he left your room with a slight smile on his face. You raised a brow. Where is he taking me? you asked to yourself. You shook your head and sighed.

As Light closed the door, Ryuk appeared, wearing a cheeky grin. Light rolled his eyes. "If you're asking for more apples, no."

The death god scratched his head. "Um, no. I'm not asking--"

"If you're asking about (Y/N)-chan and I, no." He started to walk away.

"Hey, wait!" Ryuk yelled. "At least tell me a little~." The death god tried to make sad puppy eyes, but it only made him look creepier.

He looked behind his shoulders and replied: "I'm going to spend the whole day with (Y/N)-chan. Only me and her. No Death Notes, and no Kira." He then continued to trail off.

"It's probably really cold outside..." you thought aloud, looking outside the almost frost-covered window. Snow slowly descended from the dull blue sky. You clicked your tongue and walked over to your closet. A (f/c) and (2nd f/c) dress that went down to your knees, a thick, fluffy blazer to keep you warm, and comfortable leather boots, along with stockings under it is what you had chosen, properly and carefully. You also picked a medium-sized bag for all of the stuff you were planning to bring. Now you're all set for the date!
