Chapter Seven: Danger In The Third Floor

Two weeks had passed since the news from the Chosen One had been received well badly by Sera, Jungwon and Jake. The three of them tried to forget as much as they could from the awaiting danger once it occur. The girl even avoided going to the direction of the headmistress's office in fear of being called again but she can feel Professor Mcgonagall were always there watching in case anything happens.

Professor Flitwick always asked her to stay for a few moments in his class before letting her out with Heeseung who is continually growing curious and is often caught by her, studying her in suspicion.

As for Jungwon and Jake, they were getting a little bit wary and telling Sera anytime at lunch time how Professor Zabini takes the room beside theirs to keep an eye on them. And because they couldn't keep their mouth shuts around Sunghoon, he already knew about the prophecy which is kind of a good thing for the two.

He is much more careful and understood how heavy the burden have gone onto his friend's shoulders. He went as far reminding Jungwon and Jake whenever the two were near to revealing it to anyone.

That night Sera laid in her bed, still awake with the royal blue curtains drawn shut and all around her, the other girls were already sleeping, done for the night after doing their assignments.

Restless. The girl can't explain it though she were wondering why? Why are she restless all of a sudden that she couldn't take even get a wink of sleep? She'd tossed around her bed yet still nothing is changing and her mind were swirling with thoughts of only one thing.

To explore the castle alone.

Easing herself out of the bed carefully as not to wake up any of the other girls lest they woke up and called for prefects. She tiptoed on the wooden floor, picking up her shoes to wear it outside and climb down the winding stairs, smiling in the dark to see no one was awake anymore.

She was free to skulk anywhere she want. No Heeseung reminding her of her manners. No bestfriend of hers making her feel like a dumb person on how good a student he was.

Making her way to the door out of the common room, her hand almost reaching for the handle to open when a voice spoke out from the chair near the fireplace, followed by a wand flickering on with the spell 'Lumos'.

"First, you lied to me when the chosen one visited", It was Heeseung standing up from his perch, wearing his blue pajamas with eagles as designs. "Second, you were always reminded of something everyday from Professor Flitwick"

He didn't even let her talk - continuing with a disappointed frown in his face. "Third, you're talking secretly with Jungwon and Jake these days that I am not allowed to hear. And tonight, for sure you were planning something"

Sera couldn't believe this bestfriend. Did he really waited for her in maybe two or three hours just to confirm his suspicions?

Finding no strength for her to fight him, she turned around to pushed on the door and gestured for him to follow. "Keep your knickers down your pants, I couldn't sleep so I want -"

"There's no way I would let you sneak out there and then what?", said Heeseung in a patronising voice. "Take the points away that everybody earns that you don't even scored once?"
