As soon as Galia woke up, Candice told her the good news that she could travel with her and Volkner. Galia squealed excitedly and wrapped her arms around her. They walked to Candice's house, and told Volkner who was extremely ecstatic about it. They all sat around for dinner.

"We have to go to Sunnyshore City, to ask Flint to take over Sunnyshore tower." Volkner addressed.

"Don't worry, Galia. You don't need to challenge him or anything." Candice joked. Galia and Volkner laughed along.

"Besides, Flint is super strong, stronger than Candice's father. His team is as strong as 12 of his Abomasnows." Volkner added.

"Probably more." Candice chimed in.

"You're just saying that because you think he's just so amazing." Volkner mocked. It was annoying to him how Candice would always praise Flint like he was such a godly person.

"So are you both good friends with Flint?" Galia asked, not sure about Candice's relationship with him.

"I am. She's not." Volkner answered, annoying Candice. She rolled her eyes. Volkner smirked. Galia loved when the two argued. Since they both knew eachother so well, it was more entertaining to watch.

The group started to plan their journey. First, they were going to Sunnyshore City. Next, Volkner paid for a ferry to Twinleaf Town, so Galia could obtain Pokeballs and a Pokedex from professor Rowan, and after that, they would go to Jubilife city for Candice's first contest. Then they would go to Oreburgh City for Galia's second gym battle.

"Do you guys think I could win?" Galia asked, doubtful after she lost to Candice and her father.

"To be honest, I don't know if you have that great of a chance. Roark uses rock types, and they're resistant to most of Eevee's attacks." Volkner replied reluctantly. Galia frowned.

"You'll have a lot of time to train beforehand!" Candice cheered her up.

"I guess..." Galia muttered.

"Well, I'm tired. I'm heading to sleep. I'm guessing you both are gonna stay up?" Candice asked Galia and Volkner, slightly pushing for them to spend some time together.

"Yeah, I'm not tired yet." Volkner said. He looked at Galia, who was looking at the floor, "I'll come with you and Eevee to help you train.

"Alright." Galia said awkwardly, and they both got ready and headed out the door.

"So, this is our last day here in Snowpoint City." Volkner brought up as he and Galia walked together. He looked at Galia whose eyes were focused on the ground, obsessively thinking about how she can use Eevee's moves to defeat Roark, and get her first badge.

"You know, if you want Eevee to learn a move super effective against Roark, you should teach her Dig. It's a ground type move that's super effective against Rock Types." Volkner suggested. Galia looked at him shocked. It was if Volkner was reading her mind.

"How do I teach her that move?" she asked.

"It's fairly easy to learn. I bet if you just tell her to dig. She will be able to do it. She's very obedient." Volkner assured her.

"Alright then, Eevee! Dig!" Galia sent Eevee out of her Pokeball and commanded the attack. Eevee easily dug into the ground. Nothing happened, and Galia started to get concerned. "What happened to Eevee?" she asked, worried. Suddenly, the ground Volkner's and her feet started to shake, and Eevee attacked from below, sending both Galia and Volkner to the ground. Galia screamed, and both of them fell flat on the snow. Galia turned her head to look at Volkner, who started to laugh.
