He was sitting at the bar alone. Waisting time drowning in Soju and tears.
I happen to be walking in and sit next to him. But I don't notice him. His head is down.
I ordered a Soju and sit drounding in my sorrows also. Couple hours go by and I finally start talking to noone in particular.
"Fuck men! They all suck. I hate them." I say to no one in particular feeling the buzz by my third drink in.
"Yeah well fuck woman they all suck litterally and figuratively." he answers back finally looking over in my direction.
"Excuse me?" I ask looking over at him.
"You heard me.." he says taking another sip of his drink.
"Who asked you?"
"Pretty lady sitting next to me two stools over expressed an emotion and I expressed an emotion not unsimilar too and now now I'm getting intaragated by said woman." he says smiling at me.
I sit there dumb founded. Not sure what to think about his responce.
"What's your story then?" I finally asked him.
"Take a guess. What's your story?"
"What do you think?"
"That's too bad. Pretty lady like you."
"Well he broke my heart. Three fucking years we were together."
"I'm sorry. He's a fool."
"So who broke your heart?"
"My ex. Cought her cheating. In my bed. When I came home from tour. Work I mean work." He says hoping I didn't hear.
"Wait. Tour. As in concert tour? You in a band or something?"
"Something like that." he tells me.
"Well she's a fool."
"Yep. Pretty much."
"So you came here to drown your sorrows and swear off women for the rest of your life?"
"Pretty much. Listen I think your kinda cute but your turning me on and I gotta walk away. I'm really fucked up right now and might do something we would both regret."
