Pulling away from each other, Hera and Hermes shared a look.
"Hera! Don't act like you don't hear me!"
Still looking at Hera, Hermes tilted his head. "Are you ok with me leaving?"
Hera sighed. She had been doing a lot of sighing lately. "Yes. I'll be alright. Thank you once more."
Hermes nodded and grabbed her hands. "If you ever need me, no matter what it may be for, summon me and I'll be there."
Hera squeezed his hand and nodded. They let go of each other and Hermes placed her luggage on the ground. He would've placed it inside but his angry father didn't seem like he'd budge from his spot in front of the entrance of the house.
Giving a final wave to Hera, he got in his car and drove off. Hera watched as his car disappeared into the darkness. Once she could no long see the vehicle, she turned around to face the raging man by the door.
"Hera." He said through gritted teeth.
"Zeus."
She walked up the stairs and right pass him, entering the house.
"Kaitlyn."
Almost instantaneously, the maid appeared. Bowing, she spoke. "Welcome back my Queen. How may I assist you?"
"You my rise. Thank you for your greeting, it is much appreciated. May I ask that you have those bags moved from the driveway and into my room? I'd like for the clothes within them to be washed. You can leave everything else to me."
"Right away, my Queen. Is there anything else that you may need?" She asked a little concerned.
Hera smiled at her. "No, no. That's all. Just make sure to rest well. You are dismissed."
"Yes, my Queen." She bowed and disappeared.
