"Remember what I said," said my dad, sternly.
How could I forgot? I've been told since the day I got my hogwarts letter: "you can't date anyone unworthy of you, only pure bloods."
"Don't date any muggle-born or half-blood wizards, I know," I replied, rolling my eyes as I finished packing my suitcase.
"We are serious, you can't go around dating people that are below you, it's disgusting and goes against the Dark Lord," my mother said, knowing how I tended to be rebellious.
"Yes mother," I said, wincing as she rolled up her sleeve and revealed her dark mark. I could never understand how my parents agreed with Voldemort, but sadly they were his biggest fans. It pained me to think they could support the terror he spread.
"It's time I go," I said, hugging both of my parents goodbye. I was getting a ride from my friend Aurora, and we had to hurry to make it to the station in time.
Fifteen minutes later we arrived at the busy station. King's Cross was usually crowded, but there were more people than usual since it was the day everybody had to go to Hogwarts. My friend and I took turns running into the wall to enter platform 9 and 3/4, me going first. As I entered the station, I heard voices everywhere from people telling their children goodbye and such. My own parents had to go to work at the Ministry and knew I was more than capable of going with my friend.
Since I'm in Hufflepuff, I walk over to my friends with Aurora by my side. I glance to the right and see Draco Malfoy, the son of Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy, a Slytherin. Draco's parents are friends with mine since they are all huge Death Eaters. They claim the sorting hat made a huge mistake putting me into Hufflepuff since my entire bloodline is in Slytherin, but there is nothing they can do to change. I know I really am a Hufflepuff, but my parents will never accept the facts.
As I turn back to talk to my friends, Cedric Diggory comes up to us.
