Chapter 17: Reason

"tsk...with this amount of pests I won't be able to fight you properly" Neo blurted as I sheathed my blade. "till we meet again Yatogami" he bid farewell and a flash of lighting was struck towards him leaving our ears ringing and out eyes blinded by the light.

"ugh..who was that guy? and how did he know your name Kurou?" Leala questioned

"Lazaroo could you please take the others home"

"okay, but what about you?"

"I'm gonna stay here for a bit" I replied and started to pile up the dead carcasses in one place.

"you shouldn't do all the dirty work alone Kurou-chan" Ender blurted, as he used his tails to help me pile the bodies.

"you already helped me enough by fighting by my side Ender"

"want me to burn them?" Kasai conjured fire from his palms, as I nodded.

"yes please do, Lazaroo can you take me here?" I gave Lazaroo a piece of paper with coordinates written on it, as he nodded.

"thanks Lazaroo-" in a blink of an I was teleport into a room with ten people wearing suits. "...all of you planned to kill off my kind and failed, do you anything to say to me?" I summoned two large black hounds that made all the ten formal attired men get cornered in a wall.

"we had to do it! your kind is a threat to humanity!" a man yelled with his eyes pouring out tears as the others shiver in fright.

"h-he's right! there's no way you monsters can live along side us humans!" another yelled with his legs shivering.

"you monsters already made an example of yourselves by killing each other with a second thought! your all mindless beasts through and through"

"your not afraid of us, your afraid of the world ending because of us. am I right?" I called off the hounds and sat in one of the chairs.

"if y-you already know then just go back where you came from!"

"why don't we make a deal?" I stated while holding Andr's locket. "we get to stay in this world and in exchange, I will stop anything and everything that will cause harm to the world"

"do you have any proof that we can rely on you?" a man with grey hair and yellow erises sat infront and questioned me.

"is slaughtering a whole army of my kind not enough proof for you all?" I grinned as all of them sat on their chairs and started to debate. and after a few minutes of debating the man with yellow erises stood up.

"we have come to the conclusion that we will let you monsters stay besides us if and only if you protect us from the dangers that will come" he stated as I stood up.

"then it's a deal, now I'll be going now-"

"before you go I have but one question"

"oh and that would be?"

"why do you want to protect us?" he asked as I opened the locket revealing Andr's smiling face. "well?"

"I'm not doing all this for you selfish, celf-centered, corrupt officials. I'm only doing all of this for her"
