Third person
Enjoy!

To think the trio would be talking about such utter nonsense. Love, romance...disgusting is it not? That's how each three of them described it, something that they'd never look for. Though Draco and Pansy dated for a period of time, it ended soon enough and they remained friends. They may not look for love but they were definitely all looking for a specific person at that moment of time. That's when they saw them.

Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley. The golden trio, the most popular kids in Gryffindor. They'd somehow always end up in the most dangerous situations, or run into it as if  they had multiple lives. Alas, bravery wasn't all that the silver trio tended to admire. Let's just say after shifting eyes and making some long lasting glances at them, their feelings began to change.

Draco would often stare at Harry, the way he smiled seemed to light up his day. The way he'd budge his glasses slightly, or move his hand through the black silky hair revealing the oh so popular scar mark. Harry Potter's reputation at school was high and all for good reason, even Malfoy understood that despite the bitter rivalry between the two.

Pansy would ponder about Hermione most of the time. Questions such as, 'how on earth does she walk around with that mop on her head. How does she brush it?' It was no lie that the smart Gryffindor had messy hair. The dark brown tangled locks were like a lions mane, though it suited her well and it was hard to imagine it being tidy. Such a smart girl, suited to be a witch even as a mudbl-muggle born...the greatest witch of her age indeed.

Blaise would watch Ron, paying all of his attention to him. The muttering and conversations of the Slytherin's around him seemed to drown out as his eyes drifted across the room. Granger was lucky, such a good looking and great boyfriend. What was he thinking? His mind was going on and on, was he love sick for Ronald Weasley? Were the trio lovesick for their enemies? No! Impossible...it was only some minor glancing.

"Potter looks tired, probably back from fighting a troll. Or running into any other beasts us students shouldn't dare to face,"  Draco smirked, the silver trio snickered in agreement. Harry raised his head up, his dark green ones looking at Draco's silver-blue ones. Time froze, just one pure second of this seemingly innocent moment and then he'd looked back to his friends.

"When isn't he? They all look miserable, what do you say we go...check on them?" Blaise offered with a visible grin. The three rose from their seats in union and strode towards the Gryffindor table. However Hermione's eyes were plastered on a large book, Ronald was too busy eating to notice and Harry was in mid conversation with Ginny. Ginny was Ron's sister, it seemed by the way she acted around Harry that she had a crush. Though Draco knew that, he payed close attention.

"You're looking tired today Potter. Running into death last night? I bet you all were..." The blonde grinned, crossing his arms with a prideful smirk. Hermione's eyes remained on the book pages, turning it over with a unamused expression. Ron looked at Malfoy, rolled his eyes and continued to ignore him. Harry however wouldn't stand for the cocky boys guilty pleasure, not today.

"Shove off Malfoy. I'm not in the mood for your games, I suggest you go and pick on someone else," Harry spat back, Draco letting his smirk remain. Pansy and Blaise stood only slightly behind him, a similar look planted on their faces. A grin of pure evil, that's how the golden trio often described it in their minds.

"Oh wow Potter...how daring. Though I'm curious, why such the bad mood?" This time Draco had no amusement of a comeback. Hermione finally looked up from the book pages, "Maybe the bad mood is because you're here.He said to shove off. Take the hint and leave..." They all seemed to be in a pretty bad mood.

"Oh whatever mudblood, I have the right to ask," Hermione flinched at the nickname, though Draco of course had no regret at all. Pansy looked over his shoulder, feeling slightly bad after studying the brunette's reaction. No, she couldn't feel bad for Hermione Granger. Not her.

"Call her that one more time and see where it gets you..." Ron put his plate down and sat up, beginning to grab his stuff, "come on we're leaving," the trio all sat up. "Awww running away? You're meant to be brave!" Blaise shouted after them but they were already gone. They'd rushed out of the hall with ease, escaping the Slytherin's rude mind games.

Gryffindor's POV
________

After fleeing the main hall, they'd made their way to the library. Hermione sat down at the table with her head in her hands, beginning to read whatever spell book she was reading. In attempt of comfort, Ginny gently placed her hand on her shoulder though it seemed to have no affect. "Stupid Malfoy...he shouldn't be allowed to get away with such...such-" "It's fine Ronald, I'm fine. He calls me that so much now that it hardly bothers me..."

Oh such bitter hatred. Oh such complications too, a mix. Enemies which hate-love each other. Sometimes they'd never fail to admit that they've thought about it, a romance between them and the trio. Dream or nightmare, they couldn't decide whether to like it or not. Being with someone who's called you such terrible names, wouldn't that be a disaster waiting to happen?

"Hello you four, I hope I haven't interrupted any deep thoughts," Luna Lovegood sat down on a seat next to Ginny. The interesting blonde had no shoes on, Ginny noticed that immediately and the rage had gotten worse. It was no lie that Ginny was in a tricky situation, loving Luna and Harry at the same time.

"Not at all Luna, just coming here to get away from Malfoy and his annoying friends..." Harry sunk into his seat, staring up at the ceiling. Luna raised a brow, "The ones that you always stare at? You don't like each other?" Their eyes went wide. Shifting eyes, lasting glances and a dreamy sight.  "WHAT?!" Ron's voice rang out across the whole library, everyone angrily and warningly giving him a death stare.

"They stare at you too you know, the blonde one stares at Harry the most. The girl with black hair stares at Hermione a lot. Oh and the other boy watches Ron often. I've tended to see them staring at you all for a long time..." Blush had individually spread across the three's face, Ginny looking surprised. "Out of hatred I'm guessing..." Hermione tried to shift the conversation away from where it was heading, desperately looking back at her book.

"Not really, they're often blushing- you all are too...did I say something? You're bright red you three," Ginny sat gobsmacked while the other three were just as Luna described. As red as a burning flame, a flame alike the burning passion they had for the glances at the silver trio, though were these glances as Lovegood described? Indeed a romance between the wrong people, this had to be a mistake.

Could this be what they all feared? Loving the people they were meant to hate most? No, there was no way. This wasn't how the story was meant to go, this wasn't the beginning of the romance they were supposed to have. The girl is supposed to fall for the boy, the knight in armour. They had to follow the story...but...what if they wanted to write their own?
