I snuggle into the warm and comforting couch. Just a few more hours and I would be able to visit my family. Most importantly, entre the world of blue. My world.

I shut my eyelids and listened to the soft purring sounds from Abyss who was now by my side, sniffing my fresh new clothes. I had never really liked these 'pets' that humans seem to love but cats weren't as bad compared to dogs. They were silent and secretive, just the way I liked them to be. Letting out a long sigh, I gently stroke Abyss' sleek grey blue coat. She was the only companion that I had now.

Listening to the soothing Tick Tock of the wooden antique clock, a wave of exhaustion washed over me, drifting me into a deep and uneasy sleep.

Those sea blue eyes have been haunting since yesterday. Just thinking about them sent a chill down my spine, for a long time in my life I actually wanted to curl up into a ball and hide from the world. No matter how hard I tried to shake of that uneasy feeling, I could still feel thoughts about Jayce lurking about somewhere at the back of my mind.

I was curled up in a ball, hugging my knees tightly. Hot tears streamed down my pale frozen face uncontrollably, creating dark wet splotches on my clothes. WHY? That was all that filled my mind...why? All around me was deadly silent except for the pounding of my little heart.

A breeze lifted up my hair, causing them to tickle at my neck. Goosebumps emerged. I longed for him skip next to me, call out my name and give me that angelic smile of his that made my heart warm. He made me feel so safe, so loved but when he uttered those words and turned away, a large piece of me was torn away, following his slowly disappearing shadow. There was a hole in my heart, darkness slowly creeping in.

I was broken, far beyond repair.

THUD. THUD. THUD.

I pried my eyes open, my whole back damp with cold sweat. I slowly massaged my temples, willing my usual nightmares to go away. The sounds of footsteps that had awoken me rudely grew louder. Then, they stopped, right in front of my door.

This had better not be some kind of prank, I thought, unaware of my brows knitting together in annoyance.

-Knock Knock-

I narrowed my eyes in suspicion. Since I moved in, I made it clear to everyone that Saturday was off limits. The memories and joy of breaking that idiotic and infuriating Joel lay fresh in my mind. Though I'm not really a sadist, but revenge really is sweet, just like ben and jerry ice cream. I licked my lips hungrily, I was definitely going out to buy some strawberry cheesecake ice cream after I got rid of this "little issue".

Slipping into my slippers, I stomped to my grand oak door that was now old with age. I opened the door with so much force that I swear the hinge was about to come off. I was like a charged thunderhead, ready to strike a lightning bolt. Who ever was standing outside my door was standing in the way between me and my food was I was still really grouchy from that nap.

Jayce, aka new guy that freaks me out. He was standing at my porch, holding none other than a basket of homemade blueberry muffins.

My eyes widened in surprise but my brows immediately furrowed. I was flabbergasted. HIm? At my house with a basket of muffins? Was the world really coming to an end?
