It's almost 6 am and I'm already here inside my office at the hospital. Sipping my Americano and croissant that i quickly grabbed at the coffee shop nearby.

I didn't get much sleep last night because of my dumbass best friend who made it harder for me to nurse her wasted ass last night than it already is.

When we got home, she just decided to drop her body at the kitchen counter when I was trying to make her drink some water to sober her up. But instead, she started crying and literally went "Doc, help me. I think my heart is not beating. Look feel it" while putting my hand on her chest "Oh, wait I'll go get that sort of earphone thingy that you put in your ear". And when she was just about to take a step, her body gave in and she started snoring there at the kitchen floor.

"Ugh, dammit Sana" I said while massaging my head. I was only able to get about 3 hours of sleep thanks to my best friend.

Hours passed and my morning shift passed and its almost lunch time now. 11:45 AM and that's when my phone started ringing. I answered it without looking at the caller ID.

"The soup is in the fridge, just heat it. And the medicine for your hangover is beside your bed. There's also a glass of water with it. Rehydrate yourself. And if you're going to the studio your car keys, wallet, and phone is in the kitchen counter. It's fully charged. " I said without even a pause. Of course it's Sana. Who else will call me at this hour.

"Thanks, Doc" she said groggily. Yep she just woke up and too lazy and hangover to stand up and look for the things she needs.

Doc, Doc, Doc. She really won't give up calling me that. I mean I know I'm a doctor, but she don't have to call me that too. Suddenly the door barged open revealing a walking microphone holding McDonald takeouts.

"YOO JEONGYEON!!!" she screamed and I covered my ears. She's too loud. Oh god.

"What the hell Jihyo?!"

"I brought you lunch. I know you won't eat at the cafeteria since it's too crowded at this moment. And you probably didn't even have breakfast this morning." she said while taking out the foods from the plastic bags and placing it on my table and sitting in front of me.

"How did you even know that?"

"There's two cups of coffee over there." she pointed behind me. "You know it's not healthy to do that."

"Yeah I know. I just didn't have time this morning and I barely got any sleep."

"Let me guess. Sana." she said laughing while stuffing chicken inside her mouth. "She was drunk again and you had to carry her bed." I just nod cause it's true.

"I don't know what to do with her drinking habits. She even brought me with her at the bar last night.
"

"Wow she managed to get you out of your room?"she asked like it's the most impossible thing that I'd do.

"She practically dragged me and forcefully made me wear my shoes. She even almost choked me with the seat belt."

"That sounds like Sana." she said agreeing with how I just described Sana's behaviour. "By the way, Doctor Do said you can have this afternoon off."

"Why?"

"What do you mean 'why' ? You should be thankful you barely got any sleep last night. And besides you don't have any check up appointments this afternoon. You just have to make rounds and probably play with the kids or stay at the NICU and watch babies breathe." tss this girl knows everything.

"Who's gonna take over my shift?" I asked.

"I don't know. Maybe Nayeon."

And after she said that we heard a voice outside shouting.
