I slept clutching the pillow he slept in, smelling him around me and I woke up, feeling a little better.

The days of being a housewife has started and I shall embrace them with an open heart.

I took a look at the fridge, which are still full so I dont need to go to the market and made some breakfast/lunch/dinner for one.

I watered the plants and tend the garden, did laundry.

And by the time I'm done , it was almost late noon.

"I can get use to this." I whispered, peeling my clothes for a shower.

I was going through the laundry, folding and storing them in the cupboard when I saw a note, scribbled by the ugly handwriting of my husband.

"For use"

I frowned, before realising the hidden compartment at the back of the cupboard, a sliding panel, and I slid them, revealing bunches of brown leather.

I took one out and amazed at the weight, untied the knot and almost burst in laughter mixed with tears looking at the gold coins.

"How did he even have- nevermind" I whispered, looking at the fortune and shook my head. A bunch of this leather bag can easily feed a family of for few years or more.

Being one of the commander of Whitebeard, I realized Ace never spends on anything, except for food, sake, things for me and a new pants (when I force him to). Compared to my mini allowance which is paid in Beli, but still a handsome amount, I can imagine how much a commander and x-captain can get.

"You crazy." I whispered, smiling at the thought.

I took 1 piece of gold, knowing that each worth close to hundreds of thousand beli, and hid everything back in its place.

"Thank you,  Ace."

The next day, I decided to go into the town and walk around, getting to know the island

I went after watering my plants, walked around with my sun dress and sun hat, as the town came to life, merchant running around selling things. The gold piece felt heavy in my pocket but I am feeling peckish.

With my leftover allowance money from days on Moby Dick, I went into a cafe, which painfully reminds me of the old cafe of my parents.

"Are you new here?" The young male waiter asked  as he sent my sundae over and I smiled, nodding.

"Yes. I just moved in."

"Well, welcome to the island." He opened his arm as a welcome gesture and I grinned.

"The island is interesting." I replied.

"Well, we have a port here for this town. Pretty much covered most part of the island as we trade a lot." He looked around and srunch his nose, thinking.

"There's a lake on the other side of the  land so you can get to picnic there or something." He explained and shrugged.

"Well, and the forest and hills. Not dense but enough of them."

I nodded, thankful for the introduction as he looked at me for more questions.

"Hey  do you know where I can get..." I took out a list of things to buy and showed it to him.

"Is that all?" The shopkeeper asked and I nodded, paying the total in Beli that I got from exchanging the gold coin in the town bank.

"Yes. Can you send them to my house?" I asked and the shopkeeper nodded.
