Hugs (NS) ✨

I've been sad all day today. Vinnie has been at work and I'm home by myself watching sad movies, eating junk, and crying my eyes out. Why am I sad you ask? Oh I don't really know I just woke up that way.

I decided to finally get up and clean somewhat. I clean the majority of the house and decided to sit into the living room.

~a couple hours later~

"Vinnie is gonna be home soon." I whined. "And he's gonna be home in an hour" I grabbed the phone and ordered doordash. I ordered his favorite food and mine and 20 minutes later they came and I paid for the food. I started putting it on plates. I set them on the table and 5 minutes later Vinnie came in and started eating. I could tell he was having a bad day at work.

"How was work?" I asked eating my food. "It was fine" he half smiled and continued eating. It was awkward silence and all we could hear was our forks hit the plate. I really wanted to break the silence. "How was your day babe?" He said looking at me wiping his mouth. I look up at him and then look back down at my food. "It was fine" I said picking at my food. I heard him sigh and get up.

I look up and he walks over to me and takes his hand out so I could take it. I did and he immediately pulled me into a hug. "Everything at work didn't work. I couldn't get the tricks down and I could have broken my ankle today." He said lowly. "I just woke up sad. I think I just missed you." I said and he pulled out of the hug. "How about after work tomorrow we can go on vacation. And we can go where ever you want." He smiles.

"Ok" I smiled. He went back to the other side of the table and grabbed his plate and moved it next to mine so he could sit next to me. We started to about the vacation and where we wanted to go. I didn't want to be like "let's go to the Bahamas!" And not let him say anything. But we decided to go the Hawaii.
