Picnic (NS) ✨

I woke up to me and Vinnies new place. It's currently 7 in the morning. Yea I don't wake up this early but might as well start cleaning. We've been moved in for a week now but there's a lot of boxes. Mostly his stuff tho. I started in the kitchen and living room. Vincent couldn't help because he's working. I soon got the kitchen done and almost the living room. I went to our bathroom and started unpacking in there too. It's currently 11:30 now. I decided to sit for a few then I got a text from Vinnie.

I went to our room and got dressed. (Pick your own outfit cause we all have different styles.) brushed my hair and put mascara on. I went back to the front door and started putting my shoes on. It's 11:55 now and I check my phone to see if Vincent texted me. He didn't yet. I walked outside and he was waiting in the car. I locked up the house and went to the car. "Why didn't you text me and tell me you were here?" I asked confused. "I can't rush you beautiful." He smiled. He leaned towards me and pecked my lips but went back for another kiss but this one was a longer one.

I smiled after he pulled away. "What baby?" He smiled. "Nothing." I chuckled.

(A/n- is it just me or does the word "chuckles" remind me of the motherfucker off toy story. Like the pink teddy bear that smells like strawberries. Or the clown that tells the story about the bear. Yea that one.)

"Ok" he smiled. He pulls out of the driveway and starts driving. "What's the surprise?" I said looking out the window. "If I tell you it wouldn't be a surprise now would it?"  He said putting his hand on my thigh. I look at him but he was looking at the road.

After awhile of driving we get to this bridge. "Oh What are we doing here?" I asked getting out of the car. "You'll see." He says getting out of the car. He reaches into the back of the car and got a blanket and a basket. "Want me to get anything?" I asked. "No, I got it baby." He says shutting the car door. We started walking to get on the bridge and he set the basket and blanket down and took out a camera.

"Pose!" Vinnie yelled. I hurried and went into a pose. We used to play this game where we get "ugly" pics of each other at random moments. We used to do it all the time when we started dating but we kinda got busy and haven't done it in so long.

"Want me to take pics of you for insta?" I asked giggling. "No, today is about us, not social media, not friends, just us." He pulls me into a hug. His cologne smelled so good. He pulled away and he picked the basket and blanket up and started walking. I followed until we got to a lake and Vinnie set the stuff down and walked to the lake.

"It's so pretty." I smiled. I hugged Vincent and he hugged me back. We just kinda sat there in comfortable silence. "I packed sandwiches and fruit and I also got (your fav food.)" he stated looking out into the lake.

I smile and grab onto his arm and rest my head on his shoulder. A few moments pass and Vincent spoke up. " Wanna swim?" He asked. "I didn't bring a bathing suit." I shrugged. "Ahhh" he stops and goes to the picnic basket and grabs a bathing suit out of it. My favorite one.

I shrieked in excitement, I went to the car and changed while Vinnie stayed at the picnic setting it up. Once I was done I ran to Vinnie and jumped on his back. "Woah you scared the shit out of me." He laughed. "Come on let's go swim!" I said jumping off. We started walking to a good place to jump off at. We stood and looked down at the the body of water under us. "Ready?" He says grabbing my hand. "I am." I say giving his hand a tighter grip.

"Count of 3?" I nodded to the question. We counted down and jumped. "That was so fun! Wanna jump again?" Vinnie asked.

"Sure!" I said going to the spot we were at again. After a few more jumps we decided to go get something to eat and chill out.
