It's the next morning and I'm still in my rocking chair. I suddenly feel the urge to do something today. I feel ashamed of sitting here like a sack of potatoes for almost a whole month. So I decide to go upstairs and change into my hunting clothes. The bow and arrow are still out in the woods in their usual spot. The fence didn't get blown to pieces in the war, so we just left it up. Once I'm dressed, I go back downstairs to eat something. My mouth is so dry, so tasteless. It feels so odd to use my feet again. To stand. I almost feel powerful. I go into the kitchen, but there is not many things to choose from. Mostly just cooking supplies that Sae used when she came in to cook me my daily meals. So I think about going down to the Hob. I miss it there so much. But as I start to get my shoes on, I hear a knock at the door. At first I don't really think much. I mean, who ever comes to my house? Nobody. But then my mind registers it. Nobody ever comes here. Who could it be? And then my thoughts go wild, like an animal trying to get out of it's cage. Could it really be? Would he really be here? I stop thinking about it as much as I can, and run straight to the door. I slowly put my hand on the cold handle, and pull it open. I stare into the eyes of my visitor.
