If I was in the Flash 2

Chapter 1

Hi my name is Hope Rose Allen, and I am Iris. That is my superhero name, but things are a little more difficult now. Since my dad died and gave me his super speed, I have 2 different powers. This may seem like a great problem to have, but it is actually really scary. Especially when you are a 15 year old girl and you have to save a whole city alone, and both of your parents are dead.

Well, I am not completely alone. I do have one helper. His name is Cisco, and he is the funniest person I know, but lately he has been different. He is usually funny and is constantly spitting out movie references, but now he isn't. I guess it's because all his friends are dead, but I never want to bring it up. 

It has been 1 year since I woke up from my coma thing, and everything has been great. Whenever I found a bad guy I defeated him, and went on with life. Except when I needed help, then I would go see Oliver Queen who is like my uncle. He has only had to help me twice, due to his experience and my stupidity. 

I am also learning more about my power. My first one is like an emotion changing eye color. I have had this power all my life and can never really explain it. Anyway, I think of a color and that color appears around the IRIS of my eye (this is why my hero name is Iris). For example, 2 years ago I found out that the color black means death and white means life. Therefore I can bring people back from the dead and kill them instantly. But we haven't found out the flaws yet. Last time I used this color to revive a whole army, but this put me in a coma for a year. My other power is super speed. This was given to me by my father, who died a year ago. 

Cisco and I have been doing great since I woke up, is what I would like to say. Unfortunately, we have not been getting along. The beginning was fine, and then we got tired of each other or something. Most days I just want to sit in my room in Star Labs and cry, but I never can because I'm always saving the city. Can I please get one day off? 

Thankfully, the old Team Flash left files about my dad's experiences and bad guys. This helps me a lot when I am overwhelmed, or just need help. Turns out my dad made some really bad decisions. 

Well today is my 16th birthday and Cisco and I usually celebrate with a little party and just the 2 of us, but I don't know if that will happen this year. I hope things will get better soon.
