Chapter 3

MY GRANDMOTHER!! 

Cisco started to walk back towards the cortex, so I followed him asking as many questions as I could. "My Grandmother? Why have I never heard of her? Why did she ask if my bags were packed? And why..." I was stopped by Cisco in front of me. He put his arms on my shoulders and calmly said, "In your father's Will it says that when he dies you stay where you are till you turn 16, and then you go to your grandmother." I tried to gather my thoughts, "How come I have never heard of her?" He shook his head and replied "She is a very busy lady and she never had the time." If she never had the time for me then why would she have the time for me now? He walked away a little and then I yelled "I don't want to go" a single tear fell from my eye. Cisco ignored me and continued to walk. 

I am not ok with this. I don't want to stay here and be in the way of Cisco, but I don't want to go to go with my grandmother. I ran to my room and paced. I tried to think logically, there is nothing I could do. 

I then had a great idea, what if I went back in time and saved my mom then that would save my dad and we could be a family. I quickly ran to find Cisco. I found him in the lab working diligently on something glowing. "Cisco, I want to go back in time to save my mother" He put the glowing stuff in a shot looking thing. He looked at me and I could tell he had been crying. "What's wrong?" He grabbed my arm and then time stood still. 

I could see him trying to stab me with the shot in slow motion. I quickly moved and stood on the other side of the lab. "What are you doing?" He looked down with regret. "I'm sorry, but this is for the best. This will take away your powers." TAKE AWAY MY POWERS! WHY? I stood there shocked. If he took away my powers, then I couldn't protect the city, and I would not be doing what Dad asked me to do. 

"Trust me, if I send you with her with your powers, you will become a guinea pig. She will perform test after test trying to manipulate, or duplicate your powers." I didn't understand, so I ran. I activated my speed and ran straight to the speed lab. When I go there, I ran in circles trying to find the portal to the past.

I ran and ran, but never could find it. Then I remembered my dad when he first gave me the bolt, "Hope you must stick this in your chest, and go. Run as fast as you can and use memories of me to run faster. Don't be sad, cause you will run faster when you are happy." The last sentence rattled through my brain as I tried to remember the happy memories that I have had. I remembered Supergirl, and then Oliver, then the old Cisco, then my dad. I opened my eyes to see a portal forming. 

I ran faster, and faster, then jumped in. I didn't know exactly what time I should go to, so I looked for any time with my mom. I ran a little farther and saw my dad in a frantic state. He was crying, this got me distracted and I was sent to that time. 

As soon as I exited the portal, I found a good place to stop where I could find out where I was. After a while it clicked, so I ran to Star Labs. I hid behind a counter while I heard yelling. "She is not supposed to be here! You are not supposed to be married to him!" It was a girl with a black suit (like mine) and brown hair. She was yelling at a girl with white hair and blue lips. Behind the White haired lady was a cradle. 

Was this my mom in her meta human form? Before I could answer the girl stuck her hand into my mom's chest. I freaked out. Before thinking I ran up to the girl and stuck my hand in her chest. I took out her lightning bolt and held it in my hands. My mom looked at me with confusion and gratitude. The girl was nocked out on the floor.

"Hey, who are you" I heard a familiar voice behind me. I turned around to see my dad. I ran up to him and hugged him extremely tight. I could tell he was a little on edge "Wha-" before he would finish mom stood up and said "She saved my life." Dad looked down at me again and asked "Who are you?"
