Chapter 1

"1, 2, 3.." Suga went down the line counting everyone. Me and hinata have been dating for about 4months now and if I'm being honest..I really like him and its been the best 4 months of my life. We haven't said our first "I love yous" yet but I'm planning on telling him at the end of this road trip.

Suga and daichi planned this road trip for us to give us a break from practicing for the shiratorizawa match. If it wasn't for hinata, I wouldn't be going right now.

"Right! You can a talk in groups while me and daichi sort out the final preparations before we go." Suga announced. I turn my head to the left and see kageyama and yamaguchi holding hands. I'm happy for yamaguchi, kageyama treats him well and with respect..yams is still my best friend and if he didn't treat him with respect its over for him.

"Keiiii!" I hear a high-pitched, annoying but cute voice from behind me. My shoyou. I turn around to see him smiling up at me. "Hey shoyou" I run my hand through his fluffy orange hair. He starts jumping up, I don't realise what he's doing at first but then I see he's trying to kiss me. I chuckle a bit then pick him up, allowing him to kiss me.

"Your so mean sometimes" he pouts as I put him on my shoulders. "Oh hush, I let you kiss me didn't I?" I reply. "Stiiillll" he whines. I go back to analysing my surroundings. Noya and Tanaka are laughing about something, Asahi, daichi and sugawara are talking about the trip along with yachi and kiyoko and kageyama and yams were pushing each other. I could tell their pushing was playful and it confirmed my suspicions when kageyama pulled him into a kiss.

Shoyou pulls my head back so I'm looking up at him. He stares at me for a bit then pulls off my glasses, chuckling cutely. He puts them on his face. Sometimes its hard to believe that hinatas 16, he acts like he's 5 but I'm not complaining. "Can I have my glasses back?" I ask him. "No" he says, looking around in them. I take him off my shoulders and take the glasses off his face.

"No fun" he says. I was about to reply when daichi said we could start getting on the bus. Me and hinata were the last to get on. We shuffled to the back and sat on the dark blue seats. I took our bags and placed it on the two empty seats next to us. He smiled up at me the stared out the window as we started driving. He seemed content, so I put my headphones in and started my music.

About 30 minutes in, I noticed him starting to get fridgety. I took one of my earphones out and tapped his shoulder. He looked at me confused as I put the earphone in his ear. His faced turned from confused to realisation when i put on his favourite playlist that he named 'Hinatas Calm playlist.' It was a good playlist. The songs consisted of:

He sighed sofly and leant his head on my shoulder. Streaks of the sun beamed through the window of the minibus, striking half of hinatas face. His golden brown eyes coming out from hiding as he looked at me with a soft expression. I leaned down and whispered "your so pretty, you know?" Not wanting to disturb anyone else. "Thank you" he whispered back. I wrapped my arms around him and he melted into the touch as his breathing slowed.

"Shoyo?" I whisper. I wait and get no reply. I assume he's asleep and softly fiddle with his hair. I love his hair, its probably one of my favourite features on him. All of a sudden I felt someone lean down next to me. "You guys are cute." The soft voice ran through my body "thanks suga" I say and go back to ruffling his hair.

"Say tsukishima" suga started, moving our stuff over and sitting on the seat next to us. "Hm?" I hum, not really wanting to open my mouth. "Have you told hinata you love him yet?" I remove my hand from his hair. "No..I was gonna do it at the end of this trip though.." I explain "how was you planning to? I could help you with that." He smiled. "Uhm..I'm not really sure, howd you tell daichi?" "Oh, well we were watching the sunset on the roof of his house and uh.." He hesitated. "Thoughts started coming back to me and I started crying.." He looked at me the continued. "After he comforted me I kinda just..told him.."

-Flash Back-

"The Sky's really pretty today, isn't it koshi?" Daichi said as he grabbed my hand. I hummed a quiet response before looking up at the sky, staring at it intently before all my thoughts came flooding back.

I started thinking about my little brother who died in a car crash three years prior. My parents managed to survive but he didn't since they were hit from behind..

Tears started flowing unconsciously down my face. I didn't realise until daichi asked me what was wrong. "Hm? Koshi, what's wrong?" He wrapped an arm around me. "I was just thinking about koshiro.." I say quietly. "Hey, baby, its okay..stop crying, I don't like seeing you cry even though you look beautiful." Daichi said as he wiped my tears away. I smiled sadly at him. "Sawamura..I love you." I whispered. "I
Love you too koshi, more than words could explain.."

-End of flash back-

"Maybe think of something hinata likes doing." Suga suggested. "He does really like the stars..maybe star gazing?" I think. "That's good! I'll help you out so you guys don't get in trouble." He said "I gotta go back to the front now, see you." He said getting up. "Thanks suga" I say.
