Chapter 19

five more minutes...

five more minutes until we reach karasuno and im preparing myself for a scolding. I looked back to see tsukishima and shoyo nervously waiting as well. The tension was thick.

Tanaka pulled into karasuno and turned to look at us. "This was a fun trip." He said. "Mhm..I think this also will be our last." I pitch in. "Well, thank you for this then." I hear tsukishima mumble. "No way, the one and only tsukishima said thank you to me? Nishinoya Yuu?" I tease him. "Oh shut up." He says. "Well, you guys mentally and physically prepared?" Tanaka asked. We nod and climb out of minibus. We walk in silence, inhaling deeply.

We reach the gym doors. "Who's opening them?" Me and Tanaka decide to do it since we were the ones who initiated the extras trip. I stuff the bracelets in my pocket.

We open the door to see the whole team standing there. Daichi, sugawara, coach ukai and sensei takeda at the front.
"Had a nice joy ride?" Ukai spoke. No one moved, we were all frozen. The room was deadly silent, the four of us stopped breathing. "Well, me and takeda will leave daichi and sugawara handle this." He said as he walked out, his footsteps echoing in the gym. "I'm assuming Tanaka and noya started this?" Daichi spoke up. Me and ryu nodded quietly.

"You two, banned." We both looked down. "Tsukishima and Hinata.. 200 diving drills." They nod.

"Hes only kidding." Suga said with a smile on his face. We look up in shock, was he really only joking?
"I know why you two did it and I think you guys wanted some time away from us." He started. "But, that doesn't change the facts that you stole the minibus and was driving underaged." We all nod.
"If you haven't brought us gifts then every daichi said will come true." Sugawara smiled. I quickly reach into my pocket and pull out the bracelets. I walk up to the team and hand them their bracelets with their names on it except for ryu (the mangers got necklaces instead). He seemed confused but I'll talk with him after.

"How did you pay for these?" Daichi asked. "Dads credit card.." "...Does your dad know?" "Well, he does now, haha..?" I laugh nervously. "Your parents are loaded so I'll let it be this time." Daichi says. We have a normal conversation and as it goes on I drag ryu outside. "Your probably wondering 'why hasnt he got me a bracelet?' Right?" Ryu nodded slowly. "Well, I did get you a bracelet" I reach into my hoodie pocket and pull out two, black and dark purple, infinity bracelets. I hand ryu one. "Yo, this is awesome!" Naka slides his on. "Now for mine." He reaches into his backpack and pulls out a flat, circle piece of wood. I look at him confused. "Before you say anything, let me explain."

"Okay so, when we get married right, we are gonna get our names engraved in this. Then, when we adopt a kid, we are gonna engrave their name into it and then we could paint it like a volleyball...sound good?" I hug ryu. "Glad to know your serious." I say. "Of course I am yuu."

I pull kei into the clubroom while the rest of the team was talking. Noya senpai and Tanaka senpai disappeared outside. "Shoyo?" He asks me. "I wanna give you your gift." I say. "Actually me too..you go first though." He says.
"Okay so uh, I got you a moon bracelet but I couldn't get thr matching sun to go with it.." I say. "..I have the sun one, I couldn't get the moon one because that was the last one." Kei explains. We look at each other in shock but happiness and switch bracelets.

I'm glad this road trip turned out great!

One more proper chapter then we get into the extra chapters ahhhh. I can't believe this is almost done. Don't worry though coz I've already started writing a different book :) hope you enjoyed
