Sorry this chapter took so long, I tend to procrastinate haha. Thank you for almost 300 reads! <3 <3

George was laying in bed at his hotel, trying not to cry. The fans had realized that George was in America, and were no where near happy that George had lied. He had been reading hate comments about himself and felt like shit.

To make himself feel better, he did what he would usually do, watch Dream's videos. Hearing his voice gave him a sense of comfort and safety. He would watch edits where Dream was flirting with George, giving him butterflies. He knew he would have to tell Dream about his crush at some point, but he didn't want to. He didn't want Dream to think he was gross, or to ridicule him because he was gay. He didn't even want to be gay, but his heart had other ideas. Dream's smile could brighten his whole day, his laugh could light up the darkest room, and his eyes.

His eyes.

His bright green eyes made George melt. He could stare at them for hours, memorizing every shade in them. The emerald green on the bottom, the specks of grey and yellow placed throughout, the way it looked like they glowed (EDIT: HEY GUYS JUST REMEMBERED GEORGE IS COLORBLIND AND IM A FUCKING GENIUS OK SWAGGY) .

The more George thought about it, the more he realized he didn't just have a crush on Dream. He loved him.

George tried to snap himself out of his thoughts, but he couldn't. He couldn't get that thought out of his head. It just kept repeating, over and over again, driving George mad. He shook his head violently, trying to get the thoughts to cease, but they wouldn't. He sat up and threw his legs over the side of the bed. Suddenly, the thoughts stopped. George looked up, and with a clear head stated simply, "I love Dream."

He had never been so sure of a statement in his life. He said it again and again, and it just sounded so right.

With this realization he knew he couldn't keep his secret much longer.

He had to tell Dream, and he had to tell him now.

*~~~*

Dream took a deep breath, and texted George. He didn't want it to seem urgent, so he opted for a simple, "You up?" It was the middle of the night, but he needed to do something before his confidence faded away. He sat there for only a few seconds, but it felt like hours before he saw the three dots, indicating George's reply. "Yeah, do you need something?" "I need to talk to you." "I'll be there in 10."

Dream wasn't expecting George to want to come over immediately, it was almost as if he wanted to talk to him too. Dream brushed that off, planning on asking George later if things went well.

If things went well.

Dreams sudden confidence was fading quickly, and his stomach knotted with the fact that he was about to confess to George. He felt like he was suffocating, wearing a mask of fear. He sat still on his bed, rubbing his hands together until they were numb. He felt like he was going to throw up, but he resisted the urge. In the midst of his anxiety, the doorbell rang.

He practically sprinted to the door, despite his nerves. He figured the quicker he got this over with, the quicker his nerves would go away. He stopped right before his hand reached the knob to take a deep breath. He could do this. However, he was more concerned over whether or not him and George would still be friends after this. Preparing himself for the worst, he opened the door.

"Wow, that was fast. Are you okay?" George asked. He looked tired, and his eyes slightly red as if he had been crying earlier. Dream figured he could ask about this later. "Yeah, I'm fine, come in."

George walked over and sat on the couch, Dream next to him. He could have just been sleep deprived, but he could have sworn George looked nervous.

He was silent for a moment, relishing in what could have been the last few minutes of their friendship. He made a point to memorize every feature on George's face. His smile, the way he lit up when Dream was around, and his deep brown eyes that made Dream blush.

"S-so what did you want to t-talk about?" George asked, rubbing his hands together. He definitely was nervous, considering the fact that he had just realized he loved Dream. Dream gulped and said slowly, "I need to tell you something, important. I've been afraid to tell you because I am scared you will hate me, or that this will ruin our friendship."

George was silent for a bit because something small in his brain said, "He loves you." He shook off the thought quickly and said, "Dream, I could never hate you. I joke about it, but nothing you could do would upset me to the point of not wanting to be your friend." That gave Dream the slightest bit of relief. The worst this could do now would be weakening the friendship.

Dream took a deep breath, and tried to say it. "George...I....I....." He was sure his face had turned the deepest shade of red, and his stomach was doing somersaults. He panicked, thinking he wouldn't be able to say it, but the slightest bit of confidence came to him at that moment.

"I love you George. And I'm not saying that in a joking way, I actually love you. And I know that this might ruin our friendship but-" Before he could continue, soft lips pressed themselves onto his. Dream leaned in almost immediately, pulling George close to his body. Sparks flew throughout his whole body, and passion and love flowed through the kiss.

George pulled back, and smiled. "I love you too, Dream." Dream smiled like and idiot and held George close to his chest. There was a minute or two of pure bliss. Dream had never felt happier in his entire life. Alas, all good things come to end, and the bliss ended when George spoke.

"What are we going to tell the fans? They are very upset with me right now for lying to them, and have been sending me hateful tweets." Dream's blood boiled and he wanted to punch something. That must have been why he had been crying earlier. He managed to reserve his anger and speak calmly. "We don't have to tell them about us yet, but you can clarify that you are in America. Just tell them you wanted to surprise me or something."

George smiled, but another question danced on his tongue. "Dream, what are we?"

Dream laughed quietly, and said in a low voice, "I guess your my boyfriend now."

That was all George needed to hear.
