When Lisa sat at the picnic tables with Jisoo, Seulgi, and Irene, dressed in one of her new outfits, along with her new hair cut everyone was gawking, a few people even tried asking her out only to be declined

She walked through the halls with confidence, her head held high, and a straight face. Her friends had asked why the change and Lisa had answered with "Figured it was time" her friends nodding in return. Jisoo asked where she got the money to afford such things, which earned a hard slap from Irene

Lisa knew she shouldn't have but none the less the raven-haired girl was still hopping Jennie would see her and her jaw drop, but it didn't, the minute Jennie saw Lisa and her new look she held Kai's arm closer, which was draped over her shoulder, did a 180° turn a walked back the same way she had came

Lisa sighed as she plopped on her bed, it was the night of the Spring dance, the day her bet, if it was still ongoing, would have ended, instead of the bet ending it was her friendship with a certain brunette. Unlike what she had told BamBam and Nancy, Lisa was staying home that night, not wanting to see her crush dancing with another person, someone other than her, the raven-haired girl knew she should have been happy for her ex-friend but she couldn't. Lisa had started calling Jennie her ex-friend when it hit almost a week of them not talking, every day she tried talking to the shorter girl but the other would only turn around and leave, Kai hovering close

Lisa wanted to sob at the memory, Jennie had gotten annoyed with Lisa trying to talk to her and ended up blocking her on all social media, her phone number included

Lisa tucked herself under her covers, she had told her friends she couldn't make it to the dance because she had caught a mild cold, when her friends had offered to skip the dance as well to take care of her she quickly declined.

"Alright, Sweety!" Her mother stood in her bedroom doorway, "I'm leaving for work and won't be back till tomorrow evening, I just fed Leo and Jennie so don't feed them again," She bent over and kissed her daughter on the forehead, "I'll see you tomorrow,"

"Bye, Mom, be safe,"

And just like that, Lisa was left in the small apartment alone, the only sound being her breath and the soft sound of cars on road below

The only thing Lisa had planned was to stare at the ceiling and think, she knew it wasn't a good idea o be alone with just her thoughts but she wanted to, she wanted to spend a couple of hours thinking about everything that has been happening

In the process, she had started to shed a few tears, not bothering to wipe them away she cuddled into her pillow and let a soft sob ring through the room. She couldn't get over the fact she had lost a friend, Jennie had opened up to the raven-haired girl about supposed friends using her and then throwing her aside like a used toy, they had promised each other they would be friends for a long time, but her Lisa was now, crying over her now ex-friend

Lisa still had her face buried in her pillow when she heard a soft meow from the doorway and then small pressure on the blanket. Curiously, Lisa lifted her head to be face to face with her cat, Leo

"Hi, Leo baby," Lisa greeted with her tear-stained face, "Do you want to cuddle with Mommy?" But before Lisa could lift a finger Leo was off the bed and out the room, soon returning to sit at the door and stare at Lisa and meowing like crazy

"Are you wanting to show Mommy something?" Lisa asked after a solid five minutes went by of Leo meowing at door, she pushed her sheets aside and stood, whipping her face as she followed the grey cat through the house

Leo soon stopped at the door to the balcony and pawed at it, Lisa furrowed her brows, "What do you need from the balcony?" She asked, but none the less opened the door
