"So, what was so important I had to drop everything and run to you?" Rosé quirked a brow
The two friends sat on the redhead's bed, Rosé leaning against the headboard, and Jennie sitting criss-cross at the end of the bed
"I think I like someone," Jennie answered simply
"Um, yeah, you have a boyfriend, so I hope you like someone,"
"Not what I meant, dumbass, I like someone other than Kai,"
Rosé's mouth formed and 'o' shape, "And who is this unlucky person?" She soon realized that might not have been the best response when Jennie groaned and buried her face in the comforter
"You're right," The brunette started, her words slightly muffled by the blanket, "She is super unlucky for me liking her,"
"You have now sparked my interest, who is it?" Rosé started excitedly bouncing in her spot
Jennie took a deep breath and looked at Rosé, her face still slightly in the comforter, and gave a one-word answer, "Lisa,"
Rosé choked; after a moment of silence, she suddenly burst into laughter, "You like - the person - you've been ignoring - for months?" The redhead gasped her words as she tried to silence her laughing
"Haha, very funny, Rosie, now can you stop laughing and help me?"
Rosé wiped a tear from her eye and took a deep breath to calm herself, "Of course, Jen! You're my best friend, but how did you find out?"
Jennie proceeded to tell her best friend about what had happened at the school earlier. How she had forgotten her textbook in her locker and ended up seeing Lisa dance, and that was when she knew she liked the raven girl
"When she told me she liked me, I know for a fact my heart didn't beat fast, and never when I thought of her did I get this feeling in my chest, I don't know what happened,"
"Wow, that sounds like some sort of romance novel," Rosé swooned
"Can you find out if she still likes me?"
"Oh, she definitely does, it's obvious, every time we talk about you and Kai, her eyes cloud up like she's about to cry," Her friend answered, Jennie's heart hurt at the thought of Lisa crying over a guy that wasn't even half as good as her.
"Speaking of Kai, weren't you two supposed to hang out together after school?"
"Don't remind me," Jennie groaned as she handed Rosie her phone with her messages with said boy opened
After reading through the conversation that happened not even 30 minutes ago, Rosé looked like she was fuming
"What an asshole!" Rosé fumed, "Why the hell are you even still with this jerk? He's a total bitch! You better dump his ass,"
"I was about to do it over text earlier, but you happened to text me, so I didn't,"
"If you even think about coming to school with him around your waist, I will beat your ass,"
"Don't worry, I'm going to do it after Lisa's performance,"
"You're going to that?"
"Yeah, after I saw her dance in the gym I just have to see her again,"
"Let me shoot Lisa a quick text letting her know," Rosé scrambled to find her phone and text Lisa, "Where something nice, all of us are wearing dresses, but you can wear whatever," After some moments, Rosé started talking again, after she placed her phone beside her bed, "Alright, she said she still has the extra ticket, and she'll give it to Jisoo to give to you,"
