We're going on a killer quest

So it's 8:30 and I'm starting to get ready I go through my checklist to make sure everything is packed: my hoodie, a few drachmas, my phone, a book and a bow and arrows. I learned how to use a bow and arrow in 4th grade as a part of my Girl Scout badges. I eat some breakfast which is light just some scrambled eggs and yogurt. Will checks my vitals one last time to make sure I'm absolutely fine. Finally Percy and Annabeth show up. "Percy I'm nervous. Would if you don't come back." Annabeth said "Wise girl I'm going to be fine you just stay safe and don't let Jason out of your sight." Percy responded. Well I guess it's time to go but how do we even leave camp we don't have a car and walking could take years. "We can take the Jeep." Percy decided "Percy you do realize that that makes you look like a basic girl." The Jeep is one of those white wranglers so it looks like some 16 year old who just learned to drive named Katie drives it. After a few more talks about what to do and what not I grab my bag and ask if I can do something really quick. They say I can so I dart over to the Apollo cabin to meet my friend Jaxon. I tell him that me and Percy are going on a quest and I'm nervous. Now Jaxon and me might just be a little more than friends. We met the first time I came to camp when I was nine. He showed me around and how to do different things. So any who Jaxon told me I was going to be fine. I decided to give him my book since I'd be back for it and as rembrance in case I died he told me I was being ridiculous and gave me his camp necklace to keep safe and give back to him as soon as I came back. And just as I was about to leave I kissed him on the cheek. I've never had my first kiss and figured if I died I should at least get a little kiss first. So me and Percy packed up the car, said bye to Annabeth and Jason and headed off. We decided to start on the little trail through the woods. It started off normal almost like a road trip. You know blasting music, drawing, and talking we honestly felt like normal people for once. That was until Percy decided to tell me about every possible thing that could happen. Monsters, gods, nymphs, and angry dryads. So too make things a little worse literally anything could happen. I decided to kill some time by taking a nap. Now let's take a quick pause because I forgot to mention this earlier. Essentially Will said that my passing out had to do with my concussion and oracles and such. I don't really know because he used a lot of medical terms that I didn't understand. Ok back to the story. I only woke up after the car was thrown by an unidentified monster. Somehow I was ok maybe my concussion was slightly worse and like a sprained ankle but at least I didn't pass out. I dug around the car looking for my bow and arrow and I couldn't find it. Then I remembered riptide so I grabbed it and uncapped it. As it turns out swords are a lot heavier than I thought. I grabbed the sword and managed to stab it in the foot. It wreathed in pain as I got another stab to the stomach. I managed to get one last stab in the chest as it faded into a bunch of dust. I put the cap back on the pen and rushed over to Percy. I grabbed my bag and pulled out a bit of ambrosia. He woke up and I could tell we were screwed.
