Can we go see hamilton instead?

So now that we knew where we had to go and how everything was going to go we decided to get a taxi to nyc. Now typically I don't come to nyc because it's absolutely crawling with tourists and people there just to take pictures and eat. So I don't come often I've only been her around 10 times and 3 of those were to see a show. I've seen mean girls, wicked, and the Christian Borle version of Charlie and the chocolate factory. I've begged both my mom and dad to take me to see cursed child and Hamilton but I still have yet to see them. My favorite one I've seen was Charlie and the chocolate factory because when I saw the girl who played Veruca I realized I was definitely bi. Oh yeah I guess I kinda forgot to mention that I like boys and girls. I had questioned it for a while and I guess that was my "awakening". I think that's why I tend to hang out with Will and Nico while I'm at camp. Plus they take me to the pride parade every June. So basically they're just my gay uncles. Ok but back to New York the ride there was long and boring because what would normally only be a 30 minute drive was doubled because of where Long Island was. Once we were finally there Percy dragged me over to the Empire State Building. It was huge I'd only been there once on a school Tripp. I asked what we were doing at the Empire State Building if we were supposed to go to Olympus so he had to explain how Olympus works and how the 500th floor Yada yada yada. So we stepped in the elevator and he clicked 500 and up we went. The 500 button was hidden so discretely by the mist that even I couldn't see it until he pointed it out. So up we went. It had felt like forever had gone by before we finally made it. When we were there I was in absolute awe. There were marble benches and large palaces and a huge meeting building and all of it looked like it was sitting on a pink fluffy clouds. Oh yeah and you can't forget the walkways lines with different gems most of the gems were diamonds but there was a little bit of peridot, amethyst, and rubies. We headed towards the large meeting building when somebody appeared. A woman with long brown hair, storm grey eyes, a stack of books, and what looked like she was wearing ear armor. She stormed up to Percy demanding his business there and how Annabeth was. I figured out pretty early on that this was very obviously Athena. Percy explained that Annabeth was fine and how baby Jason was doing fine and how we were sent here by Artemis as a part of our quest. She bent down and asked me who's daughter I was. I tripped over my words as I tried to spit out that I was Percy's younger sister. "So another child of Poseidon I presume" she said "erm no I'm Percy's sister on his mom's side I'm a mortal." I told her. "A mortal in Olympus?!?" She gasped "well I can see through the mist but yes as far as I know yes I am a m-m-mortal." I told her. Sometimes when I'm nervous or upset I tend to stutter. I've been doing it since I was little. "Ahh yes I see well you two run along now and if I see you again tell Annabeth I say hi." Ok so a goddess just yelled at me but I'll be ok. So we continued on to the on the path to what looked like it was a building meant for very important meetings and such. Me and Percy walked through the door. I was expecting more people than just Apollo. "Ahh yes I've been expecting you two oh yeah and that Rachel girl is she here with you two oh it seems no oh well I really just needed to see if I had an option for the next oracle but since you two are here and it seems Estelle would be a perfect fit I'll write her in as the next oracle but yeah other than that you two can go." Me and Percy cursed under our breath. "Really we went through freaking tartaraus just for you to say that, I left my wife and child to do this thinking there'd be some point but obviously not. Do you even realize how much time you wasted us and I almost lost my sister to the hunters." Percy said angrily. I don't think I'd ever seen Percy that mad especially at someone as powerful as a god. Although I admired his bravery I could never. He stormed out of the room with tears in his eyes. I chased after him. I found him sitting on the steps outside. "Percy what's wrong are you ok?" I asked. "Stelle I'm fine it's just I'm so tired of this I've been doing this mess since I was 12 it starts to wear down on you. As cool as it sounds it's actually really scary you never know when your going to die or be sent on a quest. I've lost so many people I care about stelle. And now I've dragged you into this I just don't want you to get hurt or worse. I love you and couldn't even think about losing you to my world. You were never supposed to know about any of this. You were supposed to think that me and Annabeth met at a summer camp. And that all my adventures were just bedtime stories. I just I just I want things to go well for you and for you to be a normal teen. I got dragged into all of this when I was young and don't want the same for you." Percy said. I gave him a hug and told him it was going to be alright. Since there was nothing really else we needed to do here we figured we'd leave. We headed down the elevator shaft as never gonna give you up played. "Hey Percy since were already here can we please go see Hamilton?" I pleaded. "Well I feel like Annabeth would Judo flip me if we went without her so how about I call her and you can order tickets and while we're waiting for her me and you can go to that cookie dough shop or get dinner." Percy said. "Honestly that sounds great and after this long week we've had but how about just me and you get dinner and meet up with Annabeth for cookie dough then watch Hamilton?" I said. "Now that sounds like a plan but I think we look a little rough to go see Hamilton so we should change but how Mom's 30 minutes a way and the show starts a 8:30 and it's already six." He said. "Ooh ok new plan let's go to Walmart we get nice enough outfits there go eat a fast dinner and meet up with Annabeth at dõ at 7:30."  I decided. Let's do this. We went to Walmart and split up to get our things. I ran to the girls section and grabbed a light pink romper with pants and a jean jacket I also grabbed a pack of hair ties to do my hair. We paid and I ran to the bathroom to change and braid my hair. After changing me and Percy decided to go to a local eatery to grab food. I ordered chicken tenders and macaroni and cheese because I have the same food opinion as a three year old. We then walked out to dõ the cookie dough place and waited for Annabeth. When she came we picked out our doughs and mix ins and ate. It was so delicious I can't even describe it. We finally walked over to the Richard Rogers theatre. We got our merch playbills and took our seats.  Now it was time for the show
