10-getting upset

"WHY THE HECK DID YOU LEAVE?!" I shouted at Liam, who was on call with me. I huffed, leaning by the wall for support. 

"Relax Evie. The management called us urgently because we've to  release our first album and we need to record songs." 

"I didn't stop you from that. If you were going to leave, you should have informed me at least." 

"you were hurt yesterday and i didn't want to disturb you." 

"Ugh Liam! I hate you." 

Before he could even reply anything, i hunged up the phone and plunged on my bed. My phone rang again, showing Liam's smiling picture but i just decline his call. He kept on calling me but i just declined it. When he got tired of trying, he stopped. 

Sighing, i picked up my phone and debated whether to talk to him or not. Just then my phone rang again and this time it was an unknown caller. 

"Hello?" I picked up the call. 

"Hi Evelyn." 

"Speaking. Who's it?" 

"Zayn." 

"Oh, hi zayn." 

"Why aren't you picking up Liam's call? He's getting worried." 

"You know what he did. Stop accusing me for everything." 

"I'm not accusing you Evelyn. This was really urgent." 

"But he shouldn't have hid it from me. I'm his sister after all." 

"Didn't you do the same." 

I opened my mouth to reply but nothing came out. Zayn was right. I hide everything from Liam so that he doesn't gets worried and maybe that's why Liam too, didn't tell me about leaving. 

"Evelyn? You there?" Zayn asked. 

"I'll talk to him." I said, hanging up and keeping the phone back on bed. 

I got up and limped up to the chair kept by the window. Sitting on the chair, i looked outside where Mom was watering the flowers. The flowers were happily dancing with the breeze and i smiled a little. I just wish Liam was here with me. I don't need anything more. But again, it's his work. He can't always stay there for me. Sighing, i walked back to the bed and grabbed my phone, dialing Liam's number. 

"Hello?" I said, when somebody picked up the call. 

"Hello Evelyn. Niall here." 

"Oh hey Niall. Can i get to talk to Liam?" 

"I'm sorry Evelyn. He's busy right now. But I'll make sure to tell him to call you once he's free." 

"Okay. Thank you Niall." I said and he hanged up the phone. I opened up my Instagram and found a notification of Liam tagging me in one of his post in which he has posted a picture of himself and me from Anthony's birthday party. I liked the post and commented a heart, smiling a little.

"Evie!" I heard Mom from downstairs,"Ariana is here. I'm sending her up." 

"Okay." I yelled back. 

I heard some footsteps and then the door creaked open revealing Ariana who grinned as soon as she saw me. "Evelyn." She smiled, hugging me as i stood on one leg. 

"What happened to you?" She asked when she saw me leaning onto bed for support. "Oh, i injured myself." 

"Okay now?" She asked, making me sit down. "Yes." I smiled,"You?" 

"Oh I'm okay now. Just had a little fever." She replied and i nodded. 

"i came to inform you about the fashion contest." She smirked. 

"What about it?" I frowned. 

"I know you're not going to accept it but you're taking part." She replied flatly. 

"What? NO!" I denied. 

"Yes. Stop protesting." She glared at me,"You know how Riley brags about her beauty and picks uo on you because she's jealous of you. And you're going to take part and teach her a lesson." 

"I'm not sure... I mean Liam told me that i dress like a drug dealer. I can't do it." 

"Oh cmon. He's your brother. He was just teasing you." She laughed. 

"Okay then." I smiled,"But just because you said so." 

She opened her mouth to say something but was cut off in between by my phone. 

"It's Liam." I grinned, picking up the face time call. "Hi Evie." Liam smiled, waving at me. 

"Hi Liam." I replied like i was still upset. "Still upset?" Liam asked, sadly. "Yes." I nodded. 

"I'm sorry Evie. Please forgive me." Liam pleaded and i smiled,"Okay, i forgive you. Meet my friend, Ariana!" 

"Hey Ariana!" Liam waved at her and she smiled widely, waving back at him. "Omg, i can't believe I'm talking to the Liam Payne!" She squealed, making us laugh. 

"Oh, hey Zayn." I smiled to find him waving from behind Liam. Liam turned to looked at him and then shifted his phone towards him. "Vas happenin?" zayn grinned. 

"I successfully got Evelyn to participate in the fashion show happening in our school." Ariana grinned and Liam started laughing,"Evie? In a fashion show?" 

I glared at Liam,"Haha, not funny!" 

"Oh cmon Liam! We know, Evelyn is beautiful." Arianna winked. 

"She is!" Zayn added immediately and the three of us looked at zayn and he just clasped his hands over his mouth, feeling embarrassed,"Sorry, i got excited."

"Liam,Lunch is ready!" I heard someone calling Liam. "I need to go. See ya." Liam smiled and i nodded, bidding goodbye. 

"They're so sweet." Arianna laughed,"Especially zayn! The look on his face when he told that you're beautiful was priceless." 

"Oh shut up." I chuckled.
