12-"i don't like him"

"How's my dress?" I asked Liam, trying to hold up the dress in front of me for Liam to see. "Dress is good." Liam smiled,"And expensive too..."

"Cmon Liam." I groaned, rolling my eyes,"Let me ask zayn. You're of no use." 

"Zayn how's it?" I asked, holding it up for him to see. 

"Really pretty." Zayn smiled,"You'll look fab in it." 

"Thank you." I smiled,"I just have one month to prepare for it." 

"When's it?" Zayn asked. "22 November." 

Just then a message popped up on the screen and it was from Anthony. 

Coming today? Football practice..... 

"Liam, i gotta go." I said and he frowned,"Where are you going now? You just came back from school." 

"Going to Anthony's football practice." I explained,"Bye." Throwing the phone on my bed, i quickly put my dress in the closet and grabbed my hoodie and slipped in it. I sent a message to Mom, informing her and descended down the stairs when my phone started ringing. 

I pulled out my phone and found it was Zayn. Why is he calling me? 

"Hello?" I spoke,locking the front door and putting the key in my pocket. 

"Hey Evelyn." 

"Yes?" 

"Going to meet Anthony?" 

"Yeah... Why did you ask?" I frowned. I just told him that why is he asking me again? 

"You forgave him?" 

"Was i upset before?" I asked him back while walking to the ground. 

"I mean after what he did that day...." Zayn trailed off and i instantly knew he was talking about the party,"He need to apologize to you." 

"Oh zayn." I chuckled nervously,"I told you earlier and I'm telling you again, it was my fault. I was the one who needed to apologise." 

"But Evelyn, even though you did something wrong, he doesn't has the right to behave like that." 

"Yeah Zayn, i know. But it's alright now. It was my fault." 

"If you say so." Zayn sighed,"Just know that we are worried for you." 

"Zayn, that's so sweet of you but I'm alright. You don't need to be worried." 

"Okay then, bye." 

"Bye." 

Breathing in relief, i put my phone back in my pocket and entered the playground to find Anthony fighting with some other boy. The boy threw a punch at Anthony. 

"Stop." I yelled, running up to them and trying to pull them away. 

"Evelyn, stay behind." Anthony shouted, lunging at the boy when a pack of white powder and some cash fell on the ground from the boy's hand. The boy quickly picked it up and glared at Anthony,"You'll pay for it." 

"What the hell is happening?!" I demanded when the two of them turned to look at me. The boy checked me u from my head to toe, making me feel uneasy. 

Then he turned to Anthony and glared at him and walked away. 

"What the hell was that?" I yelled at Anthony,"What was that white powder?" 

"Nothing, Evelyn." Anthony replied, looking everywhere but me,"Stay away from this matter." 

"How can i?" I scowled,"What if he did something dangerous?" 

"I'll take care of it."He stated flatly and that's when i heard Nick's voice from a distance who was waving at us. "Hey Evelyn." Nick smiled, hugging me sideways. "Hey.." I smiled, awkwardly, feeling uncomfortable. Nick has never hugged me before and this was all weird.

(Zayn's pov) 

After Evelyn told us that she was going to meet Anthony, i called her to know whether he has apologised to her or not. But Evelyn didn't even listen to me once. All she kept saying was that it was all her fault. But i still don't believe her. From what I know, Evelyn is very sweet and i don't think she'll ever hurt someone or say something bad about anyone's parents. 

The way she acts around Anthony is so strange. It feels like she's being controlled by him. She does smiles fully and her eyes speak the truth. One can look in her eyes and tell what she's feeling but again, everybody thinks that she's alright. But i don't even know if I'm right or not. Maybe I'm just over reacting. 

Anthony seems like a good guy but the way he behaves with Evelyn makes me to hate him. I know that i dont like him.  I'm very much worried about Evelyn and i don't even know why...maybe because she's Liam's sister? 

"Hey mate." Liam said, bringing me out of my thoughts,"Let's go. We have to go the studio." 

"Yeah." I nodded, walking out of our house. 

When we reached the studio, Liam dragged me to a corner. "I was thinking of asking the management if i could go back to Evelyn on 22 November, just to surprise her." 

"Cool." I answered, smiling at him. 

"will she be happy?" He asked again. 

"Yes of course!" I grinned. 

"Thank you." Liam hugged me and then we walked back to the studio, recording our songs and ot was decided that we'll release our album mid-November and Liam got the opportunity to visit Evelyn as a part of promoting the album. 

Hopefully, she'll be happy.
