chapter 2 "Trust the Swan"

Trust takes time to gain, some people find it easy some people find it to be that hardest thing to do. For swan it's never been easy all her life has been betrayals and lies quite similar to regina's in a different way. Swan considers to maybe trust regina after all she did save her life. Swan giggles her cheeks turn pink when she does "I'm so sorry, I'm a bit startled after what just happened" she says. Regina finds herself lost in swans green breathtaking eyes, what is it about them that are so ravishing "you don't have to apologize, I'm just glad I could help you". Regina's more than glad she's never meet or interacted with other strangers, her mother won't let her leave the castle very often. Regina turns around about to leave but swan stops her "you don't have to leave, do you want to eat lunch with me?" Swan grabs the sack, what's in there? Food! Regina thought. Swan leads regina to a calm spot similar to regina's except there was no river, only grass on the ground and what appeared to be a cave in front of it was a beautiful view of the sun. "Do you live here?" Regina asked observing the cave "of course not, I only stay here when I'm being chased too much" swan shrugs. Swan sits on the ground facing the suns view, she taps on the ground next to her "sit" she demands. Regina sits next to her still amused by her personality, what is it about this girl that's got me so delighted regina's thoughts wonder on. Swan takes out bread from the sack she took from the man the way she eats looks like she hasn't eaten in days. This poor girl living as a runaway is certainly awful "I'm so sorry do you want some?" Swan hands a piece of bread to regina "no thank you; I'm ok". Swan can be the most genuine person but she also has fire in her vains and regina likes that for some reason she's attracted to it. It's afternoon the sunlight hit brightly and a nice breeze came along, regina glazed at swan while she was chewing on her food and watching the sun. Swan catches regina's glaze "I need to stop this already" Regina removes the thought and returns to the suns view "so where are you from?" Swan asked observing regina she finds her quite mysterious. "I'm Henry's and cora's daughter, from the north kingdom" regina answers "interesting" swan adds "and how exactly did you save me from the man?" Swans curiosity continues "I have the gift of magic, I haven't mastered it yet but I'm practicing" regina replied. More questions flooded swans mind "magic?" Swan hissed "it's dark magic" regina adds "oh?" Swan expressed confusión and dread "don't worry its not that bad" regina continues. Dark magic is power so regina's mother and teacher say, but regina finds it unreal she believes love is true magic "my mother has been making me practice magic, she wants me to have power" regina says with sorrow. Swan still confused "but isn't that good that your mother cares about you?" Swan noticed regina's melancholy she tries to make her feel better "I wish I could see it like that, I don't know i just wish I could understand why all this is happening" regina sighs. Hours have passed and cora will notice regina's absence "I have to go, mother will kill me if she finds me out here" regina stands up "wait, can I see you again?" Swan asked standing up as well. "Oh lord she wants to see me again" regina thinks and feels flattered why would she want to see her again? Regina smiles "sure" swan smiles as well "look meet me here tomorrow at noon, I'll have a suprise for you" swan expands her hand "it was really nice meeting you regina" regina blushes she's never felt like this in her life. She shakes swans hand "it was nice meeting you too swan". Back to reality regina makes her way to her castle she runs in watching for knights, she makes it to her room safe takes off her cape and puts on the outfit her mother had for her. A light pink dress sparkly from the waist up, simple but stunning. Regina calmly sits in her dresser in front of her mirror. She smiles, a smile she hasn't had in a long time. Swan comes back to her mind, captivated by her smile and charming eyes "oh god what is wrong with me?" Regina says to her reflection. She jumps out of her thoughts as her mother walks in her room "sweetheart your all dressed up for lunch, I'm proud of you" cora's mother says. Regina follows her lead "like everyday mother". At the dining table regina's parents and herself have a nice lunch but regina can't take her mind off swan. She couldn't wait to see her again "what kind of surprise will she have for me?" Regina wonders in anticipation. Not listening to a word regina's parents say, she seems dreamy and clueless ".. isn't that right regina?" That's all regina heard from her mother "I'm sorry mother what was that" regina asks "your lessons with rumplestilskin, your getting better right?" Cora asked again "yes mother I am" regina follows her mother's lead. Regina won't care about what her mother just said her mind was to busy thinking about swan, that swan was taking over her.
