~Chapter 2~

Welcome back everyone! I hope that you are all enjoying your days so far, if not I apologize and if you need anyone to talk to, I'm here! Anyways. Here's another chapter!

After just getting invited into the blue team, I already have a lot of work to do. I put my hand on my hip as Squid is talking to all of us about what we need to do. I smile and raise my hand as I jump up and down. 

"I can go mining to get supplies!" I say excitedly and giggle. Chache smiles and nods.

"I can go with her if need be." he says softly and rubs his neck. Squid shrugs. 

"I need your help mining out a base down below, Stamps can help her, if you're both ok with that you two." he asks and I nod as I look at Stampy as he nods as well. "Alright then! Lets get down to business then!" he says excitedly as he pulls out a shovel, walking to Chache and patting him on the back. I giggle and pull out my stone pickaxe and start to head down the way I came up. Stampy follows me but when I look behind me he's gone. I walk back and look down a hole in the mountain and see him standing on a small ledge. I giggle and wave at him. 

"Need help down there?" I ask as I snicker as he rolls his eyes. My eyes widen as a creeper jumps out. "Watch out! Creeper!" I yell as I pull out a bow and shoot it off with an arrow before it could explode. 

"Holy crap. That would've been a long walk for me. Hahaha." he says as he laughs and nods to me as he nerd polls his way up to me. "Lets get going now." he says as he starts walking in the same direction I was headed. I grab his sleeve and pull him backs he almost falls down another hole. I sigh and laugh as he looks back at me.

"Be careful there Stamps. Don't need you dying on me." I say as I giggle and build a pathway over it. I shake my head and start to make a dirt staircase down the mountain. As we get to the bottom, I look around and spot what I think is a cave. I run over to it and smile. "Jackpot!" I say as I already see some coal and iron. Stamps comes walking up next to me with some arrows in his back. I cover my mouth and snort as I tried to hold back laughter. 

"Whats so funny?" I hear Stamps and Squid say together and Chache just makes a questioning noise. 

"You look like a porcupine bud!" I say as I laugh. Squid and Chache start to laugh as Stamps looks at himself. 

"I guess I do." he says as he chuckles and looks at me, blushing slightly. I giggle and cover my mouth with my hand.

"Anyways. You ready?" I ask softly as I motion towards the cave entrance. He nods and motions for me to go first. I roll my eyes playfully ad jump down, taking a bit of damage to my health. "Be careful when you come down, it'll take some health from you." I say softly as I place down a torch on a nearby wall. I look up to see Stampy jumping down next to me. I smile and hand him some torches as I choose one way and tell him he can ether follow me or go the other way. He smiles and looks down the other section of the mine. 

"Here's where you can prove yourself. If any mods come out to get you, You can handle them. I believe in you." he says as he starts off down the opposite way. I take a deep breath and start my way down the long curvy section of the mine. I mine every ore I come across and place down torches as I go. I hear a rattling of bones and swiftly turn around, coming face to face with a skeleton, his bow pointed directly at my chest. As he releases the arrow, I duck out of the way and rush at him with my iron sword in hand. I slash down from his shoulder and he breaks into pieces. I smirk and pick up the bones and arrows he left. I sniffle and rub my nose against my sleeve as I carry on. I see diamonds and my eyes light up. I squeal and hear pained groans. 

"What the hell was that?" Squiddy asks causing me to giggle. 

"Sorry about that guys. I found diamonds."I say excitedly as I mine them up with my iron pickaxe.

"Nice!" Chache says happily. I giggle and turn back around once I come to a dead end. 

"Hey Stamps, how's it going bud?" Squiddy asks before I could speak up. He clears his throat and winces slightly.

"Its going well so far, just fighting some zombies. I found a lot of iron and some other ores. Want us to come back up or keep looking?" he asks as we meet back up at the entrance to the mine. 

"Umm.. You guys can head back if you'd like, to empty your inventory's and put the iron on smelt, if not then you can keep going." Squiddy says as he keeps digging out a big space for the base.

"I'm going to head back, my inventory is full. What about you Kayda?" Stampy asks as he looks at me as we dig our way out of the mine.

"I'll keep looking, my inventory is pretty much empty besides the ores and my tools. I'll see you back at the base." I say softly as I wave him off as I head in the opposite direction of the base. As I'm walking through the desert I see snow off in the distance. 

"Thats interesting.." I mumble to myself as I scratch my head. 

"What is?" Squiddy asks a bit concerned.

"There's snow.. In the dessert. With ice blocks.." I say as I walk up onto the snow and shiver. I touch the ice blocks and make a confused noise.

"That is strange. Be careful while you check it out, alright?" he says softly. 

"You got it boss. I'll return safe and sound." I say as I head further into the snow. I see lights and my eyes widen. "There are torches guys." I say as I approach it a bit faster. I see stairs and a door. "Its another base!" I say loudly as I walk up the stairs.

"Be careful Kayda. It's ether the green team or pink team. If its the pink team, then I don't think you have anything to worry about, but, if its the green team, then you have to be extremely cautious. I don't know what those guys will do." he says sternly and with caution. 

"Yep. I gotcha.." I say as I slowly open the door and peak in. 

"What was that?" I hear someone from inside say. My eyes widen and I quickly close the door, rushing behind some ice and putting my back against it. 

"Mayday.. It's the green team.." I whisper as my hands start to shake. I hear walking outside, the snow crunching beneath their feet. I close my eyes and slow my breathing and heart rate down as I hear the footsteps get closer. 

"Kayda! Do you need us to come get you?" Squid asks in a worried tone. I glance around the corner a bit and see a yellow looking guy with his back to me. I tilt my head and see one that looks like a snake with a normal face. I duck back when the yellow one turns around. I crouch down and start to crawl away quickly. I hide behind a wall of ice farther way and curl up, holding my cold figure. 

"Squid.. I think I got this.. I'm hiding for now.. I'll let you know if I need any assistance. I'll run your way if I get spotted. Okay?" I say softly as peek around the corner a bit. I see that they have gone back inside due to it becoming night time. "Shit.. I didn't realize how late it was getting.. I'll be home in a jif guys." I say as I take caution as I slowly walk past the door and back down the stairs. I sigh and take out my sword as I start my trek back to the base.
