*BIG TIME SKIP* SET A MONTH AFTER ADDISON AND ABIGAIL JOINED THE SISTERS OF MERCY. THE REST OF THE GROUP HAS BEEN SEPERATED FROM MURPHY AND A HALF Z CASSANDRA, THE NUKES HAVE JUST BEEN DROPPED*

Abigail stood among the wreckage of the sanctuary and called out for Addison. She ducked down as the zombie bear chased one of the women in the distance, she knew she had to move. As she turned the corner she spotted Addison giving mercy to one of the children.

"Oh, thank god", Addison let out a sigh of relief as she wrapped her arms around Abigail.

"Holy crap!", Abigail uttered looking over her sister's shoulder. Mack arrived on a four-wheeler and slowly climbed off, he looked at the girls and took in their appearance. They both had their hair in braids, and their makeup was done. It brought back memories from day one when he had first met them.

"What happened?", he asked, looking around at the destruction.

"We were on the hill watching the lights", Abigail sighed.

"I think those were nukes", Mack cut in.

"Yeah that's what I thought, figured what was left of the world was trying to kill itself. Anyway, the boy they banished because he turned thirteen, he figured it out. He came back and set the whole place on fire", Addison explained.

"And released the zombie bear", Abigail added.

"Well sounds like she was right about men", Mack grumbled bitterly. They watched as he limped towards the four-wheeler and stopped. "You comin' or not?", he asked. They nodded, and all squeezed onto the seat in silence.

*MEANWHILE*

10K and Roberta stood on either side of Doc and helped him walk, as they tried to find a place to take a break. Getting shot in the shoulder had taken its toll on him and he couldn't go much further without rest, food, and water. They stopped in a garbage dump and propped Doc up, on an old broken down couch.

"If we wait here too long, we might be too weak to look for help. I've only got a day in me without water, if that", Roberta's voice was hoarse as she spoke.

"I don't think I'm going anywhere Chief", Doc sighed, feeling defeated.

"10K you stay here with Doc, I'll go see if I can find food or help while I've still got the strength. If I'm not back in forty-eight hours you're on your own", she said sternly before slowly turning and walking away.

*TIME SKIP*

"This is Citizen Z, broadcasting on all frequencies! This an emergency broadcast! Repeat, this is an emergency broadcast! Literally, life and death for the human race, now there is a man travelling among you. He is the only human known to survive a zombie bite, his blood has the antibodies to create a vaccine. It is imperative that he is transported alive to the centre for disease control in California. His name is Murphy, last seen in Fort Collins, Colorado. He has dark hair and numerous bite marks on his torso. Known to control zombies, should be considered armed and dangerous. Keep him alive! Repeat, keep him alive at all costs. The center for disease control is offering an enormous bounty in whatever form you desire. As well as getting to be first in line for any cure developed. If you can hear this broadcast, save humanity, save yourself, find Murphy!", Citizen Z's voice came through the radio that Abigail was holding. She sat still as Addison tried to pick up any other frequencies. Nearby, Mack jerry-rigged a car battery to a radio tower, in an attempt to signal to the rest of the group.

"Find something?", Mack asked, checking on the girl's progress.

"No, just that same broadcast on repeat", Abigail sighed. Then a woman's voice came over the radio, reciting a long list of numbers.
