THE GIRL IN A SUIT [on a hiatus]

THIS IS THE POOL THAT IS REFERRED IN THIS CHAPTER....IT'S LENGTH BUT NOT IT'S SURROUNDINGS

She woke up to the bright white lights that almost blinded her. She felt cold slender hands touch her wrist to which she jolted from her half asleep and bruised body. She winced as the unknown person in front of her pressed a finger against her deeply bruised wrist. She watched as the person started opening a white box and started pouring a brownish-red liquid onto the cotton pad. She threw her head back in agony as she felt the sting when the pad was put on her wrist.

She hissed as the stinging started increasing on her pale wrists while she unintentionally started noticing the features of the man in front of her. He looked like he was somewhere around his middle twenties. He had honey colored hair and warm presence. He looked up at her with dull eyes while she noted his features.

"He is waiting for you" is all he said while closing his white box and left very silently. She noticed that she wasn't tied down anymore and she stood up to which her body reacted and she sat down immediately as she realized she couldn't feel her legs. She felt a pair of strong arms harshly grabing her elbows and started pushing her forward. She understood the guard is signaling her to walk with the support of him even though it's no doubt to her that if she loses balance, the guard would straight up drop her.

She entered a room full of blue tiles while the ceiling was plain white. Her eyes widened when her eyes narrowed at pool that was placed at the center of the room. She raised her eyebrows and looked behind her to stare at the guard.

"Why am I here?" her question was met with silence.

"You're going for a little swim" the guard said. But something in that tone made Gloria feel like this isn't going to end well.

"Ahh you came" the man who kidnapped her said faking his cheerful tone. He was wearing a white shirt along with black pants and a black tie. Gloria noticed he isn't wearing his coat as usual to which she raised her eyebrows.

"I didn't have a choice" she mumbled bitterly and was forced to sit in a chair which was faced towards the narrow pool.

The man stood beside her and took a deep breath. She silently stared at the pool knowing all too well that is not ready for what is about to come.

"Now if you are thankful for the oxygen you are getting then tell me-" he was interrupted which was the strike one that crossed his temper.

"look........I don't have a reason to lie, if I knew where it is I would tell you but I don't.....for god's sake I don't know what you are talking about" she said losing her energy to scream.

The man beside her took a deep sigh and shook his head murmuring the words "You are asking for the hard way" and gave a slight nod to the guards that was holding Gloria down on both sides. One guard held her left arm and the other held her right arm while she was squirming in her seat.

After the nod of approval the guards held her arms tighter and dived her into the pool. She knew this would happen so she had held her breath before they dived her head into the water. But after time passes she started struggling as she couldn't breathe and felt like her death was right at the corner.

Right when Gloria was about to give out. They pulled her back up as she coughed up water. She tried squinting her eyes but she couldn't wipe the water away.

"Mind telling me" the man asked with raised eyebrows trying not to kill her.

She couldn't talk as she still kept on coughing water and gasping for air.

The man sighed and looked at the guards again and there her head goes......under the water.

What did I do to deserve this?

She thought to herself while she slowly lost her voice

Her energy

Her hope

The man didn't notice Gloria's tears flowing.

What he definitely didn't notice is that she lost her breath.

Another thing he didn't notice is that she fell into the hands of unconsciousness.
