~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~• Sonic's pov I heard Athena say I love you.I wanted to say if back but I couldn't.Why couldn't I??I love her also.I felt like I was trapped.I tried opening my eyes but they were stuck like glue.I tried to open them again.They wouldn't budge. Athena's pov I stared at him as I started shaking him.He wasn't moving.I kissed him softly on his forehead and went to my parents.But before I made it back to my parents,Eggman grabbed me by my arm roughly.I yelped as he pushed me out of the plane I should say that is.I fell to the floor and immediately passed out.
My dad ran up to Eggman and they both went at it. Last thing I remembered was Sonic waking up.I smiled softly and small and then passed out.I felt someone pick me up.And I heard a voice. Sonic.
"I think you have something that belongs to me.This is my power and I'm not using to run away anymore,I'm using it to protect my friends".
I heard some glass crack.Then out of the blue I kept hearing thumping sounds.I tried to get up but I couldn't.I tried again.I wouldn't budge.One more please.So at last I tried one last time and I got up. I shook my head and now I could see everything.I saw Sonic and Eggman fighting.I seen my dad picking up the rings but I called out to him.
"Dad"!!
He turned around.He looked happy.Wonder Why.
"Give it to me please"?!
He nodded his head as he gave it to me.I grabbed a ring and was trying to think of a place.I knew. Mushroom Planet.I threw the ring and it immediately opened a portal to the planet.Sonic and I looked at each other and nodded.
He was going to push Eggman into the portal. After, I immediately ran for it.I gave it my all my ran to my parents.I knew Eggman was trying to reach me but luckily I slid on the road like a baseball/softball player was trying to make it to the home run.
I was now back to my parents.It worked.I got back up and then fell down.I felt pain.I tried again and I finally got up.I believe I hurt my ankle.I saw Sonic go into a ball and then he had electricity all around him.
Sonic then pushed Eggman into the portal as he shouted.The portal then closed as we heard feinting shouting,which was now silence. Everyone cheered as my parents,Sonic and I all went in for a group hug.But when we did,I fell onto the ground.I was in pain.I groaned when my mom touched it.
"Okay uh well Athena you have twisted your ankle".
"What.Please tell me your lying mom".
"No I'm not.But I promise you will heal".
I nodded and then my parents helped me up again.I saw everyone cheering.I was happy.And then Sonic jumped up and gave me a kiss on my cheek without my parents looking.I blushed as he jumped up again to only realize that I kissed his lips.
He kissed back.He then jumped back down and we both blushed.We held hands as we started walking back to the car.Man oh man.What fun we had.....
