Forgiveness

Standing in front of the mansion, i started to think what excuses i would give them when seeing me with this two strangers. Of course this raise suspicion with what im doing all this time. I don't know how many days I've been gone? I think one to two days only.

I decided to wait until both of them wake up then i bring them in my house. At least i don't look like someone kidnapping them.

A couple of minutes passes by, they still don't wake up. Have they went into coma or what? I felt irritated with this improvement. Gosh, maybe i should hit their head. Although no one see us as i hide our presence but still with time passing I'm sure the servants start to worry with my absent and told my father. I cannot risk father suspect anything about me. Please wake up you monsters! I scream in my head.

As if they heard me, both of them twitch and start to move around. Oh thank you God i know you still believe me after all that mistakes. Hahaha.

"W..where am i?" Ultear gain conscious first and aware for her surrounding. She finally notice me in front of her with cloak still hiding my face.

"Y..you! Where did you bring me, huh?!" she ask angrily and punch me repeatedly. Well i understand where she coming from but do you need to hit me that harshly.

"Hey, hey stop that you are hurting her!Stop it!" Jellal finally realizes what happening and try to calm her down. Finally my Jellal is awake. Oops Erza.  Hehehe.

"Gosh Ult, stop that. I only let you hit me because i understand what you feel but at least im not bringing you to your mother straightly right." i try to calm her down.

"Who you calling Ult huh?! Despite that you still plan to give me to my mother, don't you?! I don't want that."

"Well of course i did promise Ur about this. Ult come on give your mother a chance. You already know which one is the truth right? Why are you still in denial?" i said not caring about calling her Ult.

Ult start to calm herself and shut her mouth. While letting her in doubt with herself, i heal Jellal thats been complaining about his hurting body. I am surprised he is not mad at me for taking him with me.

"Why are you not questioning anything?" i ask Jellal.

"I know you are a nice person and i did promise a deal with you. So what the favour i owe you about?" he replied.

"Hmm i planning to make you my puppet. Not some kind of slave but like partner? You know what i mean? I kind of need someone by my side to keep my ability a secret."

"Oh I understand. It's fine with me. I owe you my lives and I'm planning to return it."

"You kind of live owe me all of their lifes you know? Hehehe i know you going to be a strong wizard. That's why i chose you."

"How do you know? Are you planning to keep your identity unknown to me too?" with this question Ult also tilt her head wondering who i am.

"Well, both of you going to stay by side in a long time so i guess i can let you know." i start to putting my cloak down but Ult stop me.

"Wait, what do you mean 'both of us'? You mean to tell me i need to stay by your side too?! Hell no! I don't owe you anything and i certainly did not make any deal with you." Ult said furiously.

"Haih can you please calm down, Ult. It is the truth that you don't owe me anything as i force you to be here with me." she replied exactly but kept quiet as my eyes turn cold at her.

"But it is a fact that your mother owe me a favour. And im planning to make you by my side. And what would you lose by being with me. Furthermore, you will gain more than you deserve. You cannot ignore the fact i stop you from doing something you will regret in the future." i lectured her.

She kept her mouth shut and try to digest everything i said. Finally she nodded her head complied with my words. I soon lower down my cloak revealing my face and blonde hair.

"Nice to meet both of you. I'm Lucy Heartfilia. You can call me Lucy." i said cheerfully.

They surprised with my appearance. Hmm, i wonder why. Maybe they expect my face to be fierce because i am a strong mage after all.

I invite them to come in my house. Opening the door to my house, servants come running to me with relief and tears in their eyes.

"Lucy-sama thank god you are still alive. We thought something happen to you. It's been two days you are gone. Master is concern and furious at us for letting you out, Lucy-sama. " one of the servants said.

I snorted, yeah right there is no way that father of me care about my wellbeing. He must not notice my absence at all. The servants notice two kids beside me but before they get to ask a man come in screaming my name and hug me.

"Lucy, where have you been?!! Has anything happen to you?! Who is this two kid?" this man is my father. The father that show no concern of me after my mother died.

He noticed my silence and questioned me again.

"Why do you care?" i ask with indifferent tone.

"Of course i care! I am your father, Lucy!" my father exclaim.

"You are not my father!" I exclaim loudly.

A loud sound of slap heard, my father just slap me. I touch my hurt cheek and watch him tears in my eyes. He soon regretted his action.

"L..Lucy I am sorry but you need to understand i am angry. I am still your father. I have the rights to care about you." he said softly.

"Father you said? Where were you after mama died? Where were you when i hurt my ankles? Where were you when i cried in my sleep missing mama? Instead of caring me as a daughter you ignore my whole existence. Now you finally realise you have a daughter and try to play a doting father. The guts you have is unbelievable." i replied furiously.

"I'm sorry, Lucy. Please forgive me. I make a mistake. I want to make it up to you. Please give me a chance." he begging me desperately.

If only he realizes this soon, the real Lucy will not suffer after mama death. But why he change like this? It cannot be because i left home for a while right? It's only been two days. He should not realise this. He supposed to ignore me until i join Fairy Tail when i turn older. Why he change so earlier than what it supposed to be?

The question remain unanswered.

I just kept my mouth shut unwillingly to reply to him. He deserve silent treatment. Maybe he notice i don't want to say anything he turn his head to my friends finally notice their presence.

"What's your name? Are you Lucy's friend?" father ask softly.

"Yes we are. My name is Jellal and this is Ultear." Jellal answer him.

"Oh how about both of you stay for lunch here. I want to get to my daughter friends. You can change your clothes too. Lucy take them to your room." he said noticing Jellal's is torn
out and dirty.

I just nod my head agree with his word and bring them to my room. They watch me with hint of worry and pity in their eyes. I show them the bathroom and bring them change of clothes. I instruct i will wait for them here.

"Don't you want to shower too, Lucy. " Ult ask carefully. She kind of cute when asking this as she don't want to be here in the first place. Maybe she afraid i will burst at her.

"It's okay. I can shower later. You both need to shower now cause you reek of sweat especially you Jellal. Now go." i order them.

I stand in front of the window wondering why did father change so soon. He should stay ignorant until few years later. What provoke him?

I remain standing and don't realise Jellal and Ultear already finished showering.

No one's P.O.V

Jellal and Ultear watch her with concern. They know there is something wrong with this girl. They don't expect to find she also lack of love from her parents.

When they saw her house, they thought she live her life happily with no problem.

They soon turn their head and watch each other and as if they can understand their own thoughts, they agree with something.
