Chapter 7

We both were completely drunk but still sober enough to analyze stuff. I was filling glasses of water for both us and he was staring me continuously, then he asked me something which was pretty weird.  He said

M:- will you ever consider kissing your best friend

U:- um i can 

I was just finishing my water when he lifted me in his arms and took me to my bedroom. He closed the door behind us and pinned me against the door and leaned in. I was about to move forward to respond to his kiss just when a thought came to my mind. No, unnati stop you cant do this he is dating someone but then a second thought that i have waited for this moment for years and now when we are finally about to kiss i shouldn't think of anything and just kiss him.

 I was still busy thinking but he was getting impatient and just captured my lips. I could feel his soft lips, He slowly sucked both my lips and tasted them. Oh my god his lips moving against mine felt heavenly. He bit my lower lip as permission and i moaned slightly allowing his tongue to slip in my mouth. He explored my mouth. I could feel his hands going on my waist and pulling me even closer. I also kept him closer by wrapping my arms around his neck. He lowered his kiss to my neck and he sucked on my sensitive spot causing me to moan loudly.

He continued his torture on my neck and then went little lower and began kissing and sucking my collar bones. He again came back to my lips and kissed me passionately.  We pulled away after sometime when we were out of breath. He again lifted me in his arms and made me lie down on the bed. He slept on the other side and then pulled me closer and we slept cuddling each other.  His hands around my waist and mine on his torso. Trust me he smelt so good. I love cuddling him and sleeping.

We were woken up by splashes of water. It was kritika she was hella annoyed and angry, thinking that her boyfriend his cheating on her. Well if I would catch my boyfriend sleeping in someone else's bed i would think the same. But this is what we have been doing since childhood we have slept in same bed since we were kids. And by the way Kritika knew about it. She left the room in rage and manav went behind her. I could hear her shout

K:-  oh so this was the important work you had with your so called best friend ?

M:- No-No, you are taking me wrongly

K:- No, I am not! 

After few minutes manav came inside and said she left. I convinced her somehow. Also i am extremely sorry for her behavior. I said it is ok. Then there was an awkward silence in the room.  After few moments Manav spoke

M:- um you are still my best friend right?

U:- (shocked) yes why

M:- No, i thought you will get angry with me after what we did last night

U:- No, i mean,

M:- Anyways it was just a stupid kiss we should forget about it and start afresh, what say?

U:- um yeah, 

This hurt me a lot. It was just a stupid kiss for him and he kissed me because he was pissed for few reasons. He just used me. Now i was cursing myself i should not have kissed him ugh what did I do? I was lost in my thoughts when he said I think i should leave now I just nodded because i also wanted some personal time.

A few days passed and both me and manav hardly spent time with each other now as he spent's most of his time with aashna and there upcoming movie and i also have my designs. On certain days toh we didn't even talk on phone.  Yes i do miss the old us like crazy but priority and time changes people. It hurts sometimes but its okay. 

Valentines day was just at the corner and so Manav called me up to ask me what should he give aashna. I was shocked and said but Kritika is your girlfriend not aashna. Arey i know but i want to give her something special and I will buy something for Kritika. After I dont know many hours of discussion he concluded by deciding to give her a watch. Again I felt bad because he wanted to give something to aashna but didn't think of giving me something. No, its  not that ki i wanted something from him  but ya just.
