i slowly open my eyes and all i can here is this beeping sound next to my ear. i groan and try to sit up but everything hurts

"she's awake" i hear someone say even though i'm not quite sure who it is. next thing i kmow is everyone is rushing in and asking me questions

"are you okay"

"what hurts mads"

"do you feel dizzy or sick"

but i'm so confused. what happened. wheres jaden. where am i.

"wh- wh- what- happ- happened" was the only thing i was able to get out

"mads you got into a car accident but you're okay. nothing is broken" i hear a nurse say

"wheres jaden" i ask starting to get really worried

"he's just getting checked up on, he woke up a few hours before you with a lot less injuries. we're glad you can still remember" i smile at the nurse and she helps me sit up. the moment i sit up bryce and josh crash into my room.

"mads oh my god you're awake" they say hugging me really carefully

"where's my car" i ask sipping the water my nurse gave me

"is that the only thing you're worried about? your car is fine with only a few scratches surprisingly so i was able to drive it back to our house" josh says screwing the cap back into my water.

"thank you, hows jaden"

"he's fine mads. he's really worried about you but he wasn't allowed to see you until you woke up. he's got a few scratches whereas you have sprained your wrist and ankle" bryce replies. i huff and snuggle back into the hospital bed

"i wanna see him"

"we know you do. as soon as he's done you can"

an hour passes and i was able to fall asleep again with bryce and josh not leaving my side. i wake up to someone crawling into my bed. i open my eyes and see jaden. without even thinking i launch myself on to him but then i remember everything hurts

"okay bad idea OW OW OW"

"mads oh my god lie back down" jaden says as he lies down with me. i snuggle really close to him as he kisses the top of my head "i'm sorry" he whispers

"huh what why" i ask confused

"it's my fault we crashed. it's my fault you're whole body is basically sprained. it's my fault you nearly broke every bone in your body" he says starting to tear up

"no no no jaden it's not your fault. we should of just stopped for the night. please don't blame yourself" he smiles at me and we fall back asleep.
