i quietly try to get out of bed which actually worked. i slowly walked into the bathroom to get changed and then headed straight to my slightly scratched car. i also texted jaden to let him know where i am when he wakes up.

i jumped in my car, connect my phone to the aux and headed off to the address ryland sent me. surprisingly at 4am there is no cars on the road so it only took me 45 minutes.

when i pulled up i could see a sober ryland. he smiled as soon as he saw my car and jumped in. "oh my god mads thank you so much. i'm freezing" he says pulling his legs up to his chest

i search in the back and pull out one of jadens hoodies "wear this but give it back to me it's jadens" i say handing it to him and pulling off.

"how did you end up there then ryland"

"well mads i don't know. one minute i'm out at the club and the next in at the girls house"

"did she drug you"

"no no no. we walked. i'm pretty sure"

i glare at him. "you walked from the club in LA to here- an hour car journey. that's like 3/4 hour walk ryland"

"exactly mads. we left the club at ten  and i was like wow this is early i'll be home tonight. we walk and we're back at hers for 1. we- did stuff and now it's 4am- well nearly 5" ryland sighs and leans his head on the window.

as we carried on driving to the highway the traffic started to get worse and we were stuck in traffic. which meant it was 7am and we were still half an hour away.
