"MADS ARE YOU READY LETS GO" i hear jaden scream from the bottom of the stairs. i say goodbye to all my family and we head outside.

"who driving first?" i hear jaden ask as we're about to get in the car. "i can if you want" he suggests. i just smile and hop in.

"you're sweet you know that jaden" i say as i put my seat belt on. he leans over and kisses me my cheek and starts the car.

"you know mads, i do really like you" jaden blurts out an hour into our drive. i spit out my water and look at him

"you're not playing with me are you?"

"mads are you crazy. i really like you. i let you stay at my house, i'm here driving US back to LA. of course i like you. i really thought that was obvious"

"no no like it was, but boys are just really hard to read so i guess now you've put it like that it is obvious"

"even though i've only known you for a few weeks jaden, i really like you too"

he stops the car at a red light and looks at me. he smiles and starts to drive again. we sit in silence with one direction quietly playing in the back. it's comfortable silence. after about 10 minutes he puts his hand on my thigh. i look at him and smile. after that i slowly fall asleep.

after a couple hours i wake up. jaden is still listening to one direction.

"hey" i whisper quietly trying not to scare him. he looks at me and smiles.

"do you wanna stop and get snacks and food" he asks me. i slowly nod and start putting my shoes on. he pulls over to a mcdonald's drive thru. but first we headed into walmart and got snacks. we got drinks, chocolate, candy and loads more.

we hop back into my car, jaden telling me he's still gonna drive and we head to the drive thru. we ordered and then we sat in the car park eating.
