brooke
brooke and her mother were at the mall, it was very crowded since shops had the 'back to school' sales.
brooke was wearing a flower imprinted white dress that reached about mid-thigh, and a cream cardigan since it was a little breezy outside.
brooke and her mother had just got there and brooke already felt her feet starting to ache.
"how long have we been here for?" brooke groaned as they walked into some random shop.
her mother laughed, "around thirty minutes, calm down you only bought one shirt, gosh."
brooke huffed and continued to search for clothing articles, the shop wasn't very crowded which brooke was thankful for since it was getting pretty hot in the building.
after putting a shirt back where it belongs, she received a text from harry.
herry: hey hey what's going on
brooke: shopping *violently bangs head against wall*
herry: i thought girls liked shopping ??
brooke: not when itS REALLY HOT AND LIKE FIVE MILLION HOT GUYS I CAnt touch
brooke was called over by her mother to look at a pair of jeans which looked hideous.
herry: well you caN TOUCH ME
brooke laughed and shook her head as her mother pulled out another weird looking piece of clothing.
brooke: friendshiP GOALS
herry: friends?
brooke: *winks*
"who are you texting?" brooke's mother asked as she tried to peer at her phone.
brooke pulled her phone securely to her chest, "harry."
"oh," her mother smirked, "what are you guys talking about?"
brooke shrugged and she pretended to look at a shirt, "stuff."
"what kind of, stuff?" her mother was very persistent, and brooke didn't like that.
"talking about our friendship goals," brooke sighed.
"you couldn't tell me that, why?" her mothers eyebrow quirked upwards.
brooke sighed and shrugged her shoulders, (she was doing a lot of that today,) "because look."
brooke showed her mother her phone screen, which displayed the messages between her and harry.
"oh," her mother gave her a smile smile, "friends?"
"see, like we just started talking but like, he's really sweet and nice and funny and hot. but we live so far away and we haven't met its just, i don't know."
herry: *winks aggressively*
herry: so what are we then????
"distance shouldn't matter, but it could always ruin a relationship, or make it difficult."
brooke agreed by nodding, "see look at this, mom, i don't know what to do."
her mother looked at her phone screen as she put a pair of shorts back on a rack, "take it slowly, okay? and, it's a plus for me since i know you guys won't be having sex."
"mother!" brooke whined.
brooke: i don't know???
brooke: a little more than friends??
brooke: well i mean if you want
brooke: oh my god i don't know
brooke groaned and leaned on her mother, "this is why i don't have boyfriends, i'm so awkward."
"awkward is cute," her mother shrugged as she showed brooke a plum colored plain v-neck, which brooke nodded to, so her mother put it in the basket.
"not when its like overly, aggressively, awkward."
herry: i don't know either
herry: shit what do we do
herry: like, i like you cause your pretty and nice and sweet and sometimes mean but *violently shrugs*
"mom, i hate romance. can't I just marry like, zac efron and just, just hold his face all day?"
her mother laughed but shook her head, "he's too old for you."
"exactly why i hate life." brooke let out a breathe and decided to text harry back.
brooke: idk either i mean I like u 2 cause like your hot and hot and hot and nice and sometimes funny
herry: sometimes?
brooke: yes, sometimes.
herry: okay back to us liking each other, what do we do ?
brooke: okay how about
brooke: how about we take this slow and we can decide in a month if we should like move forward, yeah?
herry: yeah yeah okay
brooke: okay then
