It was raining hard outside, Dib put on a raincoat and ran in the rain just to get to Zims house.

Dib banged loudly on Zims door. 

'' ZIM, OPEN THE DOOR, I GOTTA TALK TO YOU!'' Dib yelled in the rain as Zim was currently laying on the floor in his living room.

Zim groaned, He was feeling for real this time, completely miserable. He rolled over to his door and slowly opened it with his boot. Then he saw a peek of Dib's face and slammed it.

'' Zim, I don't have time for this-It's raining and I need to TALK  to you,'' Dib demanded.

Zim stood silent for a minute, Then let out a dramatic sigh and opened the door again with his boot. Dib ran in soaking wet taking off his raincoat.

'' What could the DIB  possibly want at this time, Can't you see ZIM  is being the amazing  irken invader he is?'' Zim implied still laying on the floor.

Dib turned his head in irony, ''Yeah, I can see that.'' Dib scoffed and sat down on the floor with Zim.

Dib stared at Zim for the past 2 minutes, Zim looked tired, depressed, and it looked like he just ate a whole box of ice cream watching season 7 of friends at 5 am sobbing and laughing at the same time.

'' Okay, Come on Zim, This isn't funny, You can't seriously be sad forever just because I said your leaders hate you, why would you even believe me?'' Dib asked.

  Zim titled his head slowly at Dib. 

'' Foolish  Dib,  It's not because you said it, it's because it's true, I realize that now, Zim is a worthless defective, You can laugh now,'' Zim said dramatically. 

Dib got up and dragged Zim up off the floor.

'' Listen, man, I get it. But this isn't the Zim I  know, Your so much better than this,  just because your a ''defective'',  Who cares?'' Dib implied.

Zim looked up and just gave Dib a mean glare, but slowly he frowned, his eyes started to water pink tears, And he pushed himself onto Dib hugging him, crying into Dib's shoulder.

Dib without hesitation hugged Zim back. 

'' You know, I can relate to what it's like to be ignored, and what it feels like when other people you look up to don't even notice you, or even seem to care, like you don't even exist., and they treat you like your a piece of trash, and never wanna see your face, or even listen to one thing you have to say.''

 Dib said, hugging Zim tightly, actually giving him affection, which he deserved right now.

Zims giant jelly bean eyes were full of so many mixed emotions, relief, comfort, happiness, yet sadness at the same time.

Zim felt something he never did, He felt like finally, someone comforted Zim, Finally, someone could relate to him, And understand what it was like to be ignored, unloved, ect., But he finally had someone, and it was Dib, Surprisingly, His enemy.

Zim broke the hug and smiled at Dib, A actual, real non-evil smile. 

Zim coughed, '' Er-I-'' Zim hesitated and gagged,

 '' I just wanted to sa-'' Zim gagged again, '' THAAAnnnnn-'' Zim shivered in disgust leaving Dib in amusement. 

''THHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAANK-THANK YOU-Dib.'' Zim yelled.

'' Did you just say thank y-'' Zim covered Dib's mouth.

 ''Don't tell anyone this happened, And if you do, Zim will break your wormy human stink legs until your pathetic human heart stops beating as I rip your big head off, as your misshaped body stops shaking,'' Zim growled.

Dib backed up and waved to Zim, walking out the door, Leaving Zim actually feeling better, now that he has someone.
