"The truth" (script)

Chapter 1

(Note: If you follow my insta and see the visual part of the comic some scenes might look different but the dialogue it's still the same)

-There was a shadowy figure infront of what seem to be glass. The figure had his hand against the glass as little Rexis extended her hand to it-

???: I promise I'll never let anything like this happen to you again Rexis...

Rexis.

Rexis!

REXIS!!

Rexis: *she woke up at Amy screaming her name and sat up hitting her head on a box on top of her* Ow!

Charmy: *he was carring the box* Oops sorry Rex! ^^"

Rexis: *she rubbed her head* Ugh! No worries Charmy

Amy: Rexis were you sleeping again? *she put her hands on her waist*

Rexis: Uh- me? Sleeping? Nooooooo I was resting my eyes

Amy: Yeaaaaah well since you are not "resting your eyes" anymore I need you to head down town and check if you can find anything of infinite.

Rexis: Sure thing I'll head down in a sec.

-As Amy left Rexis couldn't stop thinking of that dream. She's had that same dream for two weeks now and still can't understand what does it mean-

Sonic: *he zoomed past her then stopped next to her and leaned against the box she was sitting* Hey anything wrong?

Rexis: Mm? Ooh nah just daydreaming. *she jumped of the box* But I better get to work before Amy starts yelling at me.

Sonic: *he chuckled* Well Alright I'll keep your place warm for ya *he jumped on the box and took a nap*

Rexis: Ha ha- *she stretched and prepared her self to run. Her stripes lid up as she speed threw the base out to the town*

-As she ran checking every section. The construction in the town was getting better everyday. A few minutes after Rexis finished her tour around the town and informed Amy. She could feel some eyes behind her and got ready for anything. She felt a hand in he shoulder and quickly turned around in a battle position only to discover it was Shadow-

Rexis: Shadow? *she let down her guard confused but happy to see him*

Shadow: Hey *he had his arms crossed like he always does but instead he had his head held a bit higher then usual. Only around her*

Rexis: Chaos you scared me *she huffed* What're you doing here anyway? Isn't G.U.N giving missions?

Shadow: Yes. One of the locations I was authorize to check it's nearby. I was just heading there until I ran into you.

Rexis: *her ears peaked up as she heard it Was nearby* Can I go?! *she said with existed wagging her little tail*

Shadow: *he jolted back but kept his cool and crossed his arms* I'm sorry but no- *he went back to his stand*

Rexis: Why not?! Its a good opportunity to spend more time together. Pluuuus I can be very helpful *she insisted with a cocky smirk*

Shadow: *he likes the idea of spending more time with her but couldn't accept* Rexis I already said my answer. Plus this mission is to dangero-

Rexis: *she cut him off* To dangerous for me I got it..*she looked a bit annoyed*

Shadow: *he looked at her raising an eyebrow with a serious face*

Rexis: Shadz, you always think everything is to dangerous for me..When are you gonna realize I can fight in my own-

Shadow: Mm..*he looked away about to go on his mission*

Rexis: Don't you remember I beat infinite? Yeah he got away an-

Shadow: And that was a risky move from you! You should've stayed on the look out as you were told too-

Rexis: Why are you so protective of me fighting? I've beaten Eggman millions of times. What's the difference?

Shadow: You don't understand Rex-

Rexis: Again with the "I dOnT UndErStaNd" I would if you just talk to me..aren't we friends? *her ears went down*

Shadow: *he thought for a sec* ...I can risk him taking you..*he said in a low voice as if talking to himself*

Rexis: What was that..?

Shadow: Nothing..I need to get back on my missing now *he patted her head and skated again*

*Rexis watch him skate away as she looked down slightly* "Take me back..?" *she thought to her self before she decided to following Shadow*
