Bzzzt! Bzzzt! The ringing of a pokenav woke up the brunette. She reached over and grabbed the device off of the bedside table, a few plushies falling to the floor as she sat up. Blinking, she stared at the screen, what said 'Call from: Lations000', then clicked the answer button. "Hello?" she asked sleepily, rubbing her tired eyes.
"May, it's 8. Get up." The voice on the other side seemed rather annoyed.
"Mhm," she mumbled as she got out of her soft bed. "What do you want anyways, Eon?" She slipped her feet into a pair of fluffy pink slippers and quickly made her way downstairs - her long bangs bouncing as she walked.
"I want you to come over. I want us to hang out, you know, as friends do," he chuckled.
Once May reached the kitchen, she got out some milk and cereal. "Why don't you ask Brendan or Wally?" She lost focus for a minute and spilled some milk, "fuck."
Eon laughed. "Language. I hope you're not teaching my baby sister such terrible words!" He laughed again.
"Of course not; she teaches herself those things." The brunette put her call on speaker and put down her pokenav. "Are you going to answer my question or...?"
"Oh! Right. They're too busy. Brendan said his dad asked for his help and Wally was going to join them. Then I thought 'I'm annoying the wrong people!' So I called you." A pokemon's screeching could be faintly heard in the background.
"Ugh. I was sleeping." She finished her breakfast, then put the bowl in the sink.
"Yeah, well I have some games we can play, and some stuff to chat about," Eon told her. The screeching seemed to get louder.
Going back into her room, she sat on her bed. "Nice. I'll be over soon." Click. 'What to wear?' May walked over to her wardrobe and took out a pastel-orange skirt and a lilac shirt. Then she got some black dolly shoes and grabbed her bag along with her pokeballs. Her devices beeped and she looked at the new message.

She scoffed before texting back, a smirk unknowingly on her lips.

Rolling her eyes, she stuffed her phone in her pocket. Within seconds it pinged, another following soon after. She ignored it and walked out of her house. 'Now to Oldale town.'

Around 10 minutes later, May stood in front of an oak door. She knocked and it opened quickly. In the doorway stood a tall slender boy with black hair and stone-blue eyes, in navy jeans and a red hoodie with mightyena-like ears. Swiftly, she stepped in and went upstairs. Once at the top of the stairs, she stepped into his room confidently. Soon, he was in the bedroom and closing the door.
He set up the TV and controllers. "Pick one," he told her as he gestured to the box full of discs to her left. She nodded and searched through the box, eventually picking up a familiar game.
