Hey there everyone and welcome...too uh...this thing... Anyway, since August 26th, 2020 at 7:00 PM I made a huge change to my life. I dropped sugar entirely from 50-60 gram sugary drinks, sugary snack, ice cream, and everything in between that has high amounts of sugar. Nowadays I read every ingredient list on every food product I buy. If the first ingredient is High Fructose Corn Syrup, Corn Syrup, or anything synthetic it goes right back on the shelf. That counts for around 75-80% of foods I would eat from the store. Shows you just how much us as a society has become addicted to sugar. Also, I look at the nutrition facts to see how much sugar it has. If it's over it's 5 grams, that goes right back on the shelf too. Now my parents tell me, "You need to relax, calm down, and stop cause you're going overboard."
Problem is...why would I? I haven't felt this good in years in terms of feeling healthy. Haven't felt this great since August 24th, 2015, the day that 10th grade of High School started for me.
Not only have I dropped sugar pretty much all together, I've done some things on top of that as well. I've started brushing my teeth twice a day, showering everyday, changing my clothes every day, walking every day, and drinking at least 60 ounces of water a day.
I've kept this up to where, yesterday, I weighed myself and I have lost 5 pounds in just 5 days.
