The girl of the sunsets

The next day I wake up at 9:30 and have breakfast with mom and dad. Auden and Lucas seem to be sleeping because they stayed up until late. When I finish I check my phone and see that it's July 14th. I feel like I haven't done anything productive until now, so I start to feel overwhelmed and go to my room and play the piano for a little bit. It helps me to relax, and when I've played 3 songs I stop. I call Maddie to tell her the news, and she just tells me that she will come over one day and help me pack my bag.

I decide to put on some music while I clean my closet, and doing this, the morning goes by without me even noticing.

After lunch I decide to go for a walk and then buy something from the grocery shop mom has told me to buy. As soon as I go out I decide that it's not a good idea going out for a walk, so I just go to the groceries.

When I'm trying to guess which cookies mom wants me to buy, I feel someone touching my shoulder. I turn around and see the random boy. I wanted it to be anyone but him.

"I can't believe it. I can't even go grocery shopping without bumping into you or what?"

"Woah, blondie, just calm down. Are you having a bad day?" I swear I would smack his head if we weren't at the supermarket.

"No. Actually I was having a very good day until you appeared" I snap at him.

"Anyway, what a coincidence, huh? I think destiny wants us together" he says jokingly.

"I don't think it's a coincidence though. You want to know what I think it is? I think you're stalking me and following me everywhere I go"

"I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I've got better things to do than stalking you" and with this, I try to go from the aisle, but he doesn't let me. "Not so soon. I still have your airpod, remember? I have it right here. I'll give it to you today when you go to see the sunset"

Why is he telling me this? "Alright, can I go now? my mom is waiting for me at home" I say, and he moves to the side. I finish buying everything and pay; then I take the bag and go home. Luckily he doesn't follow me so I arrive home early and give the bag to mom.

"Thank you so much Em" she thanks me and I go to my room to take a nap.

I go to the beach, and suddenly I feel that he is kissing me. I try to move, but he just pins me to the sand and doesn't let me move. I'm laughing and having a good time, but then I hear my phone's alarm. I wake up from my nap and notice that everything was a dream. Why would I dream about him? And kissing him? I need to stop this.

I'm on my way to the beach when I see the random boy next to me. You really have to be kidding me.

"See, you're stalking me all the fucking time" I tell him, but this time half smirking.

"Oh, you know how to smirk? That's good to know. And don't flatter yourself, I'm not stalking you. I was just going to the same place you're going"

"Of course I know how to smirk, idiot. I just don't do it in front of you" and while we are talking we keep walking until we reach the sand. I take off my shoes and don't even wait for him.

"You aren't going to wait for me? That's rude" but I just ignore him and go to my usual spot at the beach. I take out my towel and lay it on the sand. Then I sit there and secretly wait until he comes. When he's done, I decide to speak.

"I'm here, so now please give me back my airpod" I ask him.

"Only if you ask for it smiling" he says proud of himself. Damn, he likes to play.

"Please give me back my airpod" and then I give him the fakest smile I've ever given to someone. This one is even worse than the smile you have to fake when someone gives you a present you don't like.
