My Inner Demons Asch x Reader

Chapter 2.

Y/n pov:

I woke up in the middle of the night wearing the clothes I wore yesterday, including my boots. I decided to change into a pair of comfy pants and a tank top. I wrapped myself in a blanket, using it as a cape and walked out into the kitchen looking through the fridge and the cabinets even though I know there's nothing there. 

I turned around to see that the daemos were all asleep in the living room. The hell?! I thought Ava got rid of them?  Noi was sleeping on the ground over in the corner while Pierce was sitting in a chair with the blade of his sword on the floor and his hands on the hilt holding it upright and somehow sleeping. Leif was cross legged sitting on the floor. How in god's name are any of them sleeping?

Asch was sleeping on the couch facing the back, the rest of him covered by a blanket. Rhys was nowhere to be found. Not gonna lie he looks adorable! I said in my head while brushing a strand of hair out of his face. All of a sudden I heard Noi mumbling something about humans harvesting his horns and sucking out his organs. What the hell?

I walked back to my room with my blanket cape and curled into a ball, falling back to sleep. 

Later:

I woke up to Asch screaming and holding a dagger above my head. Me being tired and not being able to process things properly I respond to this with, "Do you mind?" As soon as he noticed that I was awake, his eyes widened and he froze before Rhys walked in. "Your majesty, put down the knife!" He whisper yelled. 

"Why should I?" he asked stubbornly. "Knives kill humans!" "And?" he countered. Rhys growled a little to himself before sighing and bringing his hands to his face,  and sighing again. "Your majesty, I'm all for your way of doing things, but now isn't the time. One human isn't going to solve the entire magic crisis. We need to-" Rhys tried to calm him before getting interrupted. 

"Which part is most tender to stab?" he said looking back at me. "Excuse me! Did you forget that I was awake?!" I said angrily, looking at him. He was again shocked and Rhys even more so, since he didn't know I was awake to begin with. Noi then walked up behind Rhys with Pierce and Leif, yawning. 

"Hey have you seen one of my daggers around? It's missing." He said to Rhys. "Quiet Noi, or else-" I sighed, turning over before Rhys could say anything else. They all gasped at this and froze in place. "You have five seconds to get out. 5! 4!" I started counting down as they all scrambled to get out, slamming the door behind them as they went. 

There's no way I'm going to sleep after that. I threw the blankets off of me and sauntered over to the closet. I pulled on an over-sized black hoodie and put my necklace back on. I can't help putting it on. It's just habit now. I walked out to see them all standing in the living room and Asch telling Leif to go wake up Ava.

A bit concerning but okay. I decided to just sit in the kitchen and watch. "I'll go wake the other prisoner." Asch said starting to turn around. "Actually, I'm already here." I said smirking. As soon as I said that he jumped and turned as quick as possible and the rest of them just stared at me shocked. "What?" I said raising a brow. 

"Nevermind." Asch huffed turning around with a slightly pink face. All of a sudden we all heard Ava screaming. "I was just kidding!" she screamed. "Leif! What did I just say?!" Asch screamed back. 

Later(again):

Johnny was staring angrily at the piece of pizza that Ava put in his bowl for him to eat. "Assimilate?" Ava questioned the daemos. They made a semicircle around us in the living room as they tried to explain things to me and Ava. 

"Yes. Prince Asch would-" Rhys was cut off by Ava laughing. "She mocks us?" Leif questioned, raising a brow. "No no no, it's just, you said ass-" Ava said still laughing before Rhys cut her off. "Immature." I said quietly, shaking my head but still smiling. "Asch, perhaps you can explain." Rhys said addressing Asch. He sighed in response before continuing.
