"What are you doing here?" Dylan came between us as I peered around him curiously.
"So, this is really her. Certainly not what I was expecting." His eyes studied me. "Father is leaving town." Those simple words seemed to have made an impact on Dylan as he raked his fingers through his hair. "Very well."
"You're Dylan's brother." I stated more than asked as I looked at him curiously. "Unfortunately." Dylan answered. "Yes, his funnier and more handsome brother." He walked further into the store. "This is Jack. Jack, Juliette." Dylan introduced us, though it was clear his mind was elsewhere.
"Like the Shakespeare play. Let's hope your story ends differently." Jack's gaze wandered around the store as my face furrowed. "What are you doing here?" Dylan asked, losing his patience. "You know why." Jack answered creating a thick silence between them.
"Right. Well," I began awkwardly as I grabbed my things. "I don't have time for whatever this is right now." I made my way towards the front door to lock up.
Dylan followed after me as Jack stayed in place. Growing frustrated until I heard him speak. "You sure this is her?" He asked from behind me, startling me. "How... How did you-" I stumbled with my words as my eyes traveled back and forth from where he had previously stood.
"Just leave." Dylan pressed, his eyes burned into his. "Yes, please. Why don't you both just go home and find another girl to terrorize." I walked towards my car. "You mean she doesn't know yet?" Jack asked his brother as my ears perked curiosity.
"No, I don't. I don't know anything." I turned to them. "I don't know who either of you are, I don't know what your fascination is with me and this town and I don't understand why you're seemingly everywhere I go. So, please just leave me alone! Both of you!" I demanded firmly as my voice rose.
"You've really got your work cut out for you." I heard Jack tell Dylan in the distance as I got into my car. Jack laughed, slapping his shoulder affectionately as Dylan glared at him. Tearing my eyes away from Dylan as I sped off.
I spent the night tossing and turning, my mind went a mile a minute unable to stop thinking about Dylan and my dream. Wolves howled in the far off distance as I stared out my bedroom window struggling to drift off to sleep.
"You can't deny what we have, Juliette." Dylan breathed as he stood in front of me.
His palm met with the side of my neck forcing me look up into his deep brown eyes that held so much unreadable emotion. Dylan's thumb caressed my cheek delicately making me shutter.
Before I could respond I felt his lips against my neck. His teeth grazed my skin delicately. "You're mine. And I'm yours."
Sitting up with a jolt of lighting shooting through me, panting heavily as I tried to calm myself down. My heart raced as I ran my fingertips along my neck. My hot skin tingled at the memory of his lips against my flushed skin.
Dylan's face, his touch against mine, his dominating voice as he looked at me with such love and warmth. Dylan's natural scent lingered in the air as I held my face in my palms. Everything felt all too real as I tried to train my rambling thoughts. Growing irritated from my vivid dreams and imagination.
Sighing heavily looking out at the sun rising through the fog. The birds began to chirp signaling the start of the day. Reluctantly sitting up, deciding to force myself to forget about my dreams and pretend they never happened for my own sanity.
I made my way downstairs after getting ready for another much needed early morning run. Cars were parked in town square as a few business owners began to start their day. Noticing Dylan in the distance, leaning against his car parked in front of the bookstore.
