WARNING: swearing

So, I just want you guys to know: I have no clue how pockets work, so I'm just making it up as I go. If you think it's not accurate you're probably right.

This time I'm kind of basing the reader's sense of direction of myself. Seriously, it's so bad. I'm not kidding, I literally got lost on a straight road more than once. So I called my mom in a panic, like: "Mom, help, I don't know where I am. Did I need to go over the hill or not?" To which my mom laughed for a good five minutes before telling me where to go. I am not kidding when I say, all I needed to do was go straight ahead. And I got lost...yay.

I hope it suits your tastes.

Shit!
Why!?
Why did they leave already!?
Why didn't they think to wait for you!?

"Shit! Shit! Shit! Shit!" You cursed.
"(Y/n), you seem stressed, are you okay?" Yuri asked.
"No, I'm not ok! I'm a disaster when it comes to directions! Evan is a guide, even he had trouble finding the right way in this place. I'm gonna die here..." You despaired. "What am I gonna do?" Evan gave Yuri a questioning look. You were just exaggerating, right? Evan sighed.
"How about I just walk you through it, I'll keep contact via your pocket. You just have to do what I tell you to, ok?"
"Ok."
"Great, take a leftover there." So with no hesitation....you turned right. "Nevermind! Just go with us!" Evan yelled. "stay close, and don't wander off."
"Thank you..." Honestly, you were kind of ashamed of yourself. You were a high ranker for christ's sake, and you couldn't even tell left from right. Even five-year-olds could do better. Sob. You just showed off how utterly useless you were on your own.

"Honestly I never expected you to be so bad with directions. How did you always get where you needed to be?" Yuri was curious, she had known each of you Wol ha ik song team for quite some time, but your sense of direction, or rather lack of, never surfaced before.
"I just had someone come with me so I could follow them around and sometimes I get lucky." You groaned in shame, you felt so bad about your uselessness. You just had to confess one of your fatal flaws in front of a princess of Jahad, utterly embarrassing. Not to mention a guide.
You wanted nothing more than to sink through the floor.
The rest of the day you slumped behind them, not being able to bear looking them in the eye.

----------

It took you two to three years to navigate to the Wol ha ik song base on the 77th floor. Even with a guide, the thought of how long it would have taken you sent shivers down your spine. You would have been damned for eternity, never finding the ways back home.

The paths leading from one floor to another were like the labyrinth under Crete, even for someone with a sense of direction. Evan guided you through as Ariadne did with the hero Theseus. His presence was Ariadne's string, you knew he'd guide you through safely, as long as you stayed close.

During your time together you appealed to Evan, you never once called him short or complained about how it took too long to get back. Much unlike the princess. You were just happy you'd be able to get back within the next five hundred years. But you also enjoyed his company, you liked his bluntness and thought his annoyance with princess Yuri was both funny and understandable.

Upon arrival at the base, your team apologized profusely for leaving you behind. They thought you'd catch up later, unfortunately, that wouldn't have been the case. You were very lucky that Yuri and Evan agreed to you tagging along.
You apologized as well. You were too embarrassed to mention that your sense of direction before, or rather lack thereof, was worse than a dead potato's.

"Evan, Yuri, thank you so much for letting me tag along. I can't thank you enough. I think I'd be forever lost if it weren't for you." You doubted you would have returned if they hadn't come to your aid.
"Oh, euhm, that's alright. I had fun-we had fun." Evan stumbled over his words, "correcting" them nervously.
"Oh yes, yes we did. Call anytime...Evan would like it," Yuri whispered the last party close to your ear, but judging from his flustered expression, Evan still heard it. Yuri gave him a suggestive look, seemingly very satisfied with herself. "but hey, we need to get a move on, I have a little favor to ask of Replista."
