It's dark and twisty so if you'd like to read something light-hearted... Well, I don't think I have any books like that but you may be able to find something warm and fuzzy by a different author.
If you've read any of my other work, you already know this: I promise that I will NEVER describe sexual assault. With 1 and 3 women suffering from sexual assault and rape, I can attest to us being far too familiar with it. There is no need to go into detail. We know the details. We live the details.
When our moms give us weapons for self-defense as Christmas presents. When our dads change the locks on our doors to the 'heavy-duty' ones. When we clutch our keys between our knuckles as we walk through dark parking lots. When we have to ask security guards to walk us out of the store in broad daylight.
And so on, and so on.
