Jungkook was walking down the hallway alone lost in his own world after accidentally eavesdropping on jimin and tae conversation this morning.

-Earlier in the morning-

Jungkook walked out of his room to go check up on jimin. He's been worried since tae told everyone that jimin went home early from the party because he wasn't feeling well.

As he was walking to jimin's room he could see the door was slightly open and can hear tae's voice and... Jimin crying? He wanted to rush in and comfort jimin but he stopped himself from going in when he heard his name from jimin's mouth.

"tae.. Ju-Jungkook he-he... I-i saw yesterday.." jimin stuttered between his cries.

"shh clam down first jimin.." taehyung spoke in a soothing voice to comfort his best friend. After few minutes jimin calmed down a bit and started explaining everything.

"yesterday when.. When i went to find kookie, i found him with a girl.... Kissing.." jimin's voice got weaker as he spoke. "i never even had a chance to begin with.." he started crying again.

Jungkook's eyes went wide in shock. He didn't expect for anyone to have seen what happened at the party. He quickly left the dorm and walked to class. It hurt jungkook to see jimin like that. Yet he realised Jimin must not have seen what happened after and he needs to find a way explain everything.

It was Jungkooks birthday next week and they all planned to go to a club and drink since jungkook has been wanting to as soon as he turns 18.

He was also planning on confessing to jimin that day since he already thought jimin likes him too with the reactions he got from him from time to time when he flirted a bit. But of course he still wasn't sure about jimin's sexuality which did kind of bother him.

However hearing what he heard in the morning just proved that jimin does in fact like him. All he had to do now was find a way to explain everything to him as soon as possible.

Jungkook decided it would be best and be straight forward with jimin and tell him the truth about what happened with the girl.

He's avoiding me.. Jungkook thought to himself. He has been trying to talk to jimin for the past few days but the older would always makes excuses or make sure they're never alone.

After a tiring day, he finally reached their dorm and went in. He noticed that tae's shoes weren't there but jimins was. He went down the hallway thinking this might finally his chance to talk with him.

He gently nocked few times on jimin's door. "hyung, it's me. I was wondering if we could talk..."

There was silence for a few seconds then little shuffling sound from the other side. Jimin cleared his throat and spoke up, "oh er im busy right now jungkook maybe some other time,"

Jungkook let out a little sigh. "your avoiding me.." he spoke in a low tone but jimin heard since he was right behind the door. As much as he wanted to see the younger he couldn't, his broken heart wouldn't be allow it.

"my brithday is coming up...You promised you'd have my first drink with me. I hope you won't break that promise," he said gently putting his forehead on the door for a couple seconds and then walking away.

Jungkook walked to his room and dropped on his bed. Hoping jimin will show up tomorrow night.

It was Jungkooks birthday on Sunday and the group planned to go to the club on Saturday night so they can party all night and celebrate his birthday exactly when the clock strikes twelve.

Since jimin loved drinking he ended up promising jungkook he would have the youngers first drink with him and everyone knows he never breaks a promise.

Jimin knows he has to face jungkook sooner or later because before anything they're friends. And close friends at that. So he decided that he will go to the party even if he has to pretend to be happy because he doesn't want to ruin Jungkooks happiness by not going.

Another thought came to jimin and started thinking this might be his chance to get over jungkook since he'll probably invite his 'girlfriend' there.
