Confused And Alone

I was having a perfectly good dream when I hear the sounds of my music set on the timer to wake me up. With a groan I slap it off of the table and it unplugged. I congratulated myself with the good shot but got up anyway, seeing that I had no text I went to the bathroom and tried to wake myself up but if wasn't really working, I'm still tripping over my feet down the stairs. But I made it to the kitchen where I saw my mom making herself some dantooine cereal that she brought back with her from actually going to dantooine for work, so now we have pretty much 8 boxes of it. I'm not going to lie it is pretty good! When she saw me she smiled
"Good morning Honey!" She said chippier than usual
"Hi momma! What's got you so excited?" I asked and she took a deep breath and stated excitedly
" I got a job offer!" My mouth dropped and my heart skipped a beat. You see we weren't the poorest of people but we weren't rich buy any means so hearing that my mom might have a steady outlook on a job is so awesome!
"Mom I'm so proud of you! Where is it? Who is the business run by? Are they nice?" I ask making sure everything is great. She laughed and looked at me cautiously
"When I was in dantooine the rebel base was there!" I whipped my head around and put my hand over her mouth
"Mom you can't say that stuff around hear!" I told her quietly but alert and she moved my hand and kept going
"I asked some troops what they were doing and they couldn't tell me but after all of the stories I heard I couldn't help but ask where to "sign up!" And I looked around and thought this isn't a job it's a suicide mission but I swallowed my anxiety and looked at her
"I'm so happy for you momma you deserve to do something you love but please for the love of stars please be carful." She nodded and started to eat her cereal I kept looking down at my phone pretending that I had friends to text but I was shitting myself! I know she has heard stories, we all have but I feel like she doesn't realize how dangerous and risky it is. A lot of those people in those stories that aren't mentioned didn't come back to their families. They just disappeared like they never existed and that scares me. But my mom seems content and fine? I just hope that she understands what this could mean, for me and her.

I went upstairs after breakfast and turned on my tv hologram thingy and watched whatever was on, then I got tired feel asleep when I woke up I saw that it was dark, shit, you know those naps that when you wake up you're sure you're in another time, or another dimension. That was this but I couldn't help but feel like something was off but I had to pee so that's probably what is was. I got up and walked to the bathroom seeing that my hair was an absolute mess! I brushed it and put it up in a ponytail and went downstairs where my mom was reading.
"Hey! Sorry I slept all day." She looked at me and smiled
"It's no problem I was just reading about my new job!" She exclaimed and I blinked remembering everything we had talked about.
"Mom I-" before I could get anything out there was a harsh knock at the door. Oh no. Somethings wrong.
My mom opened the door and saw two stormtroopers looking back at her and she gasped. Okay don't freak out Robin it may be nothing. Act cool.
"H-Hello! What brings you to me home?" My moms said, who is trying to be cool as well.
"We came because we heard someone complain that they talk of the rebel base." The flat robot voice stated. Nonono, this cant be happening. My mom swallowed
"Oh, well I'm sure they were mistaken we have no idea what is going on with all of that." And I nod backing her up knowing good and well they weren't buying it.
"Ma'am we are trying to do this cilvil if you do not tell us where you found them we have no choice but to take it by force." He stated. Civil my ass! They're looking for a fight but my mom stood her ground. Just tell them mom! It's not a big deal they probably left anyway! But I was too late they grabbed her and shoved past me tearing our home apart and leaving nothing but destruction in their path. My mom looked at me and mouthed "I'm sorry" and I looked at her confused, what did she mean? But they found the damn cereal boxes
"Where did you get this cereal?!" The storm trooper asked and if I was not in the situation I am I would've laughed. But I kept my head down and stayed quiet.
"I got it from dantooine!" My mom shouted in pain because they were holding her too tight.
"Is that where the rebel base is?!" He asked when he grabbed her and she yelped
"No! I had a job there and I just thought it would be good to bring some!" My mom stated, no, why did you lie? They know.
"Ren?!" The stormtrooper spits into his intercom
"Yes 30178?" I hear this dark ventilated voice some through, I got chills, fucking chills! Just from hearing that voice!
"I've got the woman and she knows where they base is. My guess is dantooine but would you like me to interrogate?" The storm trooper asked, interrogate?! What does he mean by that?!
"No, bring her to me." The voice said, that was it I shit my pants, they are going to take her
"No! You can't take me! What about my little girl?!" Shit they all looked at me who was shuffling on my feet and playing with my fingers.
"You're right." And both me and my mom looked at him confused as hell
"Ren, there's a daughter present what should we do with her?" He asked while he stared at my mom
"Is she a current threat?" "Ren" asked and my eyes go confused, why would I be any kind of threat, they must meet some weird people, just thinking about that makes me giggle, WHY THE FUCK DID I JUST GIGGLE?! I screamed to myself while facepalming
"No sir she is not a threat." The stormtrooper says, thanks captain obvious of course I'm no threat!
"Then leave her and bring the mother." Ren said and the stormtrooper obliged and they took my mom out the door but before they left, the one storm trooper looked at me
"Do not do anything funny kid!" He said sternly and my eyes went wide but I looked at my mom and nodded obediently. I just don't understand why they need my mom! Ugh! This is so frustrating! But they took my mom and she wasn't fighting which made me more nervous. When they left I saw the mess they made and made the ultimate dumb decision to run and hide on a hill to see what the hell is going on!

They took my mom over to this gigantic ship that was dark and I just felt the damage going through it. And then my blood ran cold. It was him. The one that stormtrooper was talking to about my mom. When I saw him come down from the ship he walked right over to my mother and demanded she tell them everything she knows about the rebels or he'll take it and she won't like how. Man why can't I know some kick ass moves and save her but it would only make it worse. My mom kept denying and I didn't know why, but everyone was growing frustrated with her. Please mom just say whatever they want please! But she wouldn't and Ren pulled out a weird looking weapon, was he going to beat her?! No, he pushed a button and light came out of it like it was screaming, she didn't look scared, she looked ready for something that I'd hoped wouldn't happen. He tried to warn her, intimidate her, but she wouldn't give in. And she looked over and saw me and was silently telling me she loved me, I was a mess at this point but nothing prepared me as Ren put the light weapon straight through her body. I screamed and they all looked over at me. Shit. I tried to get up but my legs felt like jelly. But I felt myself being pulled toward this prick and I couldn't stop it, he brought me close to him and inspected me
"Take her to the ship and put her in a chamber." He said. No! What is the chamber I don't want one! I looked at him with pleading eyes but nothing worked I was an ant compared to him and his team, but something did catch my eye, the light weapon, it was beautiful. What am I saying?! He just killed my mother! I started to tear up with my lip trembling and he faltered a little bit I guess not expecting me to cry?! Dude come on! What did you expect?! He took me toward the ship and the stormtroopers grabbed me and put me in the "chamber" fuck, now I'm really alone and scared, what's going to happen now?
